Situated in a privately-owned complex, this is a well-appointed and spacious studio, with separated bed area for privacy from the main living space (see photos). New, fully fitted kitchen in 2023, and additionally equipped with WiFi, widescreen Android TV showing numerous channels including movies and sports etc, including Netflix (with your login), and YouTube etc, DVD/CD, full air conditioning, ceiling fans, full-size fridge freezer, bath and shower (combined) and washing machine, as well as all the essentials of course. The bedroom area has 2 comfortable single beds, and there is a chaise longue in the living area which converts in to a 3/4 bed if preferred.
Located on the 2nd floor, the apartment has a spacious balcony which is South-facing, enjoying the afternoon and evening sun, and there's even a bit of a sea view, albeit around 600m away! The complex has 3 pools, with large terraces and plenty of loungers and room, unlike many of the apartment hotels in the area. There are 3 bars onsite plus a pool bar. One offering cheap drinks, and plenty of entertainment including karaoke, bingo, quizzes and games etc, and another offering a more relaxed and quiet atmosphere, and great place to watch live sport. There is also a café and well-stocked general store. There are dozens more bars, restaurants and shops in the immediate area of course, just seconds or minutes walk away.
There is ample car parking on site and a taxi rank at front. The beach (pebble/rugged), marina, and coastal path (lined with bars, restaurants, shops etc) are a 10 min walk, and the main commercial centre of Golf del Sur (San Blas) is around 20 mins walk or a few mins in a taxi. The golf courses of Amarilla and Golf Del Sur are on the doorstep and the sandy beaches of Los Cristianos and Las Americas are a 15/20min drive, and the quieter sandy beaches of La Tejita through to the chilled town of El Medano are around 10 mins drive or 45 mins walk. Buses serve all locations.
The resort area of Golf del Sur is located on the southern coast of Tenerife, just a 15 minute drive or taxi ride from the airport. It is a friendly and relaxed area, and is popular with retirees, couples, and families seeking a quieter alternative to the busier, commercial resorts nearby, whilst still having all the usual amenities at hand. It is not suited to those seeking vibrant nightlife and the party scene!
Being so close to the airport, planes fly over the resort quite low, although it is almost exclusively for landing, so doesn't tend to be too noisy, and ceases overnight. For most, this causes little or no disruption, and any inconvenience is more than off-set by the benefit of being close by. However, it may not be ideal for someone with a particular sensitivity.
There are dozens of great value restaurants and tavernas in the resort, offering everything from simple breakfasts and snacks, and 'pub grub', through to excellent quality lunches and evening dinners. There is a wide range on offer, including East Asian, Indian, Italian, and of course Tapas and traditional Canarian cuisine. Fresh seafood is plentiful, especially in the neighbouring fishing harbour of Los Abrigos, and Vegetarian and Vegan options are plentiful.
The complex is privately owned and comprises residential and holiday homes. It is not a hotel and does not provide hotel services such as catering, entertainment or concierge etc.

Important Additional Notes:
i. The apartment is professionally cleaned and prepared prior to each guest arriving, it is NOT service cleaned during your stay, it is fully self-catering. Although washing and drying facilities are in place, additional linen or towels can be accessed upon request.
ii. Guests are responsible for their own perishables and toiletries, such as washing powder, soap, detergent, etc, although there is usually a surplus of such items left by prior guests, and in every event the cleaner will ensure there is at least one toilet roll in place for arrival. We ask that guests leave a similar amount as they find on arrival if possible.
iii. WiFi is provided at no additional charge in the apartment, and is also widely available throughout the complex and bars/cafes etc for free.
iv. The apartment is best suited to couples/singles/pairs it is only available for a maximum of 2 persons and renters over 25 years old. Younger persons may be considered - please email details.
