Großartige Lage mit Zugang zum See am wunderschönen Lake Wawasee !!! Die Insel bietet Platz für bis zu 20 Personen in Betten / Schlafsofas. Perfekt für Familientreffen. Hat über 50 Fuß Pier Platz für Ihre persönlichen Boote und PWCs. Die Insel bietet über 1, 5 Hektar großen Platz und viel Platz zum Parken. Es hat auch alte Bäume, die reichlich Schatten am westlichen Ende der Insel bieten, um alle cool zu halten, während sie den Hauptkanal während ihres Aufenthalts genießen.

Gäste, die auf der Insel bleiben, haben die Möglichkeit, fast jeden Teil der Immobilie zu erreichen. Der einzige Ort, der keinen Zugang haben wird, ist die Garage für 2 Autos.



Absolut KEINE FEUERWERKE auf dem Grundstück !!!




Bringen Sie Ihr Boot mit und starten Sie es an einem der öffentlichen Startplätze in der Nähe der Insel. Es gibt eine Brücke, die über den Main Channel in der Nähe des Syracuse Lake Public Access führt, der tief im Wasser liegt, das bestimmte Boote daran hindert, darunter zu gelangen. Der Zugang zum See Syrakus bietet Platz für Skiboote, Runabout-Boote und Wakeboard-Boote. Lake Wawasee Öffentlicher Zugang bietet Platz für jede Art von Boot ohne Brücken zu gehen.

Its a prime location with great access to the water. Perfect for family and has an extra side house for kids...wow. I hate to leave too good of a review because we don't want to loose our ability to book this again and again!

Really enjoyed our stay on the island with our family of 8 adults. You'll pass many multi-million homes on the way to your home - this is not one of them, but instead is a very comfortable and cozy place for your family to settle in and enjoy. We really enjoyed the large, screened-in patio and watching all the boats going to and from the lake through the channel. Not good for swimming but great for paddling (kayak or SUP) in the channels around the islands or up to Lake Syracuse.

We keep coming back. Location with dock….large common areas for big families and wonderfully private. Almost hate to leave a great review as I don’t want the secret out and lose our space !! Ha! But you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic property on a beautiful lake

We take annual extended family vacations. This property 100% met our needs. Beautiful home well taken care of. The lake was amazing. Such a relaxing vacation. We travel with our dogs which there was a fenced in yard for. Cory was quick with responses to any questions we had. We will definitely return.

FAMILY RETREAT

We've been going to this same property for 5 years and have already booked it for next year. It is just perfect for us in a lot of ways: dock (we rent a pontoon every year), just off the main lake on the main channel behind a beautiful home on the point, we take our dogs, it's a 1 acre island and the dogs can run free, or, there's a fenced back yard, the separate bunk house is clean and fun for teens/singles. We love to watch the boat traffic on the channel late at night. Inside is clean and comfortable with many improvements over the years.

Room for everyone!

The main lake house and the smaller detached cottage provided just the type of space needed for our group. The outdoor space provided enough room for activities like badminton, Frisbee, and fishing. The location is perfect as both the lake and the marina are only a 5 min boat ride away and the channel area is fun for kayaking. The screened in porch off the main house is large and was a great place to sit during the evening hours for conversation and card playing. The inside space is nicely decorated and up to date. The kitchen is stocked with utensils/plates/bowls/glasses/cups/pots and other kitchen basics. Cory was very quick to answer any questions that we had and was an attentive host. We had a great week and recommend this property.

Great Family Vacation

Thank you for allowing us to use your wonderful home. It was perfect for our 3 families! The location was perfect. The proximity to town for shopping and for parks, play and swimming was great. The property was lovely and especially enjoyed family meals on the screened in porch. Having the dock made our boat rental experience so convenient and seamless! Our host was a superb communicator and was quick to take care of the little details. We hope to return soon! I was not planning to rate the accuracy of the listing as I spoke to Cory about there not being a hot tub but the form will not allow me to leave it blank. He said he has tried to remove the hot tub from the listing a number of times but the VBRO site does not allow him to remove it. We found plenty to do with out the hot tub!

This is a great place to stay for large families or groups..

This was our second stay for our family of sixteen ranging in age from 10 - 72. We love all of the bedroom options. Two full bathrooms and a large user friendly kitchen. We also love the privacy of a huge shaded backyard. And lots of parking space right on the island. The channel surrounding the island provides direct access to the lake or to The Channel Marker restaurant. Our family loves to use the provided paddle boards in the channel. We grill a lot of food, and we love it that we are all able to eat in the huge screened in porch.

Family vacation

We had a family of 13, there was plenty of room for all of us. The property was clean and there was plenty of towels and dishes. There were nice chairs to sit in outside for everyone. Cory was very prompt and courteous whenever we had questions.

Lakehouse Week With Family and Close Friends

This is our 3rd year in a row going to this property. It is awesome in many ways. It's a 1 acre island and pet friendly so dogs can run free or you they can go into the back yard which is fenced. Easy access to the lake. We always rent a pontoon from Wawasee Boat Co. and it's close and easy to access the rental property dock. The house isn't directly on the main lake, but, it's just behind a beautiful home on the point and a bridge over onto the rented island. Love sitting out by the edge of the water and watching the unique boats come and go.

Large property with plenty of room

We had a great time! Nice location on the channel for easy access to Lake Wawasee. Very clean. Plenty of room for lawn games and multiple families. The only thing that may possibly be difficult for some may be that there isn’t a first floor master bedroom. Very nice great room where we could all gather. Highly recommend!

Great Island house for family gatherings.

We had our family gathering of 17 people here. We had plenty of room to park, play yard games, grill, and enjoy an evening camp fire. We also enjoyed eating our many meals in the huge screened in porch. And sitting in the yard watching the grandkids paddle board in the channel surrounding the island. We are hoping to stay here again next year.

Fantastic location, great for dogs!

The property has a gigantic yard that is dog friendly. As it's isolated by a bridge, we were able to let our dog run free around the island. The house had a nice dock for docking our pontoon boat. The house has some opportunities for additional maintenance and improvements that would make this a 5-star house. Also worth noting it would be a tight squeeze at its full capacity listed online.

amazing memories shared at this wonderful home!

The home and location were more wonderful than we even imagined. Cory was responsive to questions and helped out with a few glitches we experienced. The home was BEAUTIFULLY decorated and stocked with all we could have needed. We enjoyed having the boat docked at the house, the screened porch, firepit, AND what most lake homes don't have, space to play badmitten, frisbee, and other games in the large yard. There was a fenced area for the dogs to run around in and ample parking. One tip, if you bring a boat you can't take it to the house because of a narrow bridge to the island. Call the marina and arrange a spot for your trailer and to put the boat in the water, they were super helpful and friendly. We are still basking in the warm, happy memories we shared with our family here and we are definitely considering a return next year!

Family and Boating Week

Our family rented this property for 5 days. We also rented a pontoon boat from the marina. We were able to dock the pontoon at the property. Lake Wawasee is just around the corner. Easy access and out of the wind. We ate all our meals on the screened in porch. We had an awesome time.

A nice long weekend

We stayed at this property for a long weekend with 4 adults and 4 children. The interior was recently renovated and the decor is beautiful! There is plenty of space and the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cory is super friendly, easy to work with, and very responsive. The property is close to the marina, which made it convenient to rent a pontoon with quick and easy access to Lake Wawasee. This is a great property -- we'd stay again!
