Lovely place overlooking the lake.

Lovely place overlooking the lake. lovely hot tub even in the snow beds were comfy only down thing was the crockery and cutlery as I do like to use matching knife and fork to eat

Amazing week.

Amazing week. Fantastic staff who were soo helpful and friendly. All of the mod cons including a washing machine and the. best part of the “caravan” was the hot tub.

Very clean and perfect accommodation.

Very clean and perfect accommodation. The caretakers and staff are working tirelessly to make guests feel welcome. The park itself was not very big so not many facilities for kids but that didn't bother us. On the bright side we had a hot tub. Unfortunately, the hot tub wasn't working properly - first night didn't work at all, 2nd night it was working but took forever to warm up and the plug tripped again so the 3rd night didn't work at all.Although, like I said, the staff (John and another guy) tried their best, the hot tub was beyond their capabilities.Anyway, we had a good holiday.

The lodge cabins were spacious and clean. Towels were provided. They have a dishwasher as well making cleaning on your holiday quick and easy. A hoover is provided and a lot of cookery and cutlery as well

Had a fabulous stay overall in the Rowden 3 bed lodge with hot tub.

Had a fabulous stay overall in the Rowden 3 bed lodge with hot tub. The lodge was clean and tidy, comfy beds, nice large bath in the main bedroom, clean hot tub with daily maintenance, good location for shops, takeaways etc. The only issue I had was the kitchen was lacking the basics, we had to go and ask for things which I feel should have been in there to begin with - unsure if this was the previous tenants taking things home?! We were missing; oven glove, potato peeler, measuring jug, dishwasher tablets (a supply of 3 or 4 would be good for the whole stay, we had to buy our own), and just a few of the outside bulbs were broken, but this didn’t change the hot tub experience. Other than that, a fabulous stay and would definitely come back again!

We have just returned from a weekend stay with Colliery Lane Lodges We were a group of friends occupying two lodges. We arrived early and were greeted by friendly staff and amazing surroundings. The lodges offer a quieter retreat for relaxing so you are asked to keep noise down later in the evenings. We asked someone to come look at dishwasher and were responded to quickly the same day. Nothing was too much trouble for these hospitable crew.Lodges were clean and the beds comfortable. You can see the whole team are working hard to update some areas but this didn't interfere with us or our weekend. Would love to visit with my own family but no pets allowed so will just have to come again with friends 😄Big thank you to you all for making our yearly gathering and thanks for putting up with our craziness! X
