The vineyard and winery of Gusbournes is just a short walk from the cottage, and makes a fantastic day out. Tenterden is also nearby and offers a range of restaurant, pubs, shops and the Chapel Down Vineyard. Take a trip on the Kent and Sussex steam railway, or should the weather turn inclement there is also an indoor leisure pool and gym in Tentereden.
