The Wynd in Bamburgh, Northumberland sleeps 10 guests in five bedrooms.
The Wynd is a wonderful spacious quality property set in an enviable position with full views of the iconic Bamburgh Castle and stunning coastline. Sleeping 10 comfortably or 4 out of season, The Wynd is a very well equipped, family orientated property with plenty of space for everyone. The accommodation is split over two floors with the majority of rooms on the ground floor and the master suite with second lounge on the first floor. The grounds to the rear of the property are terraced to include a patio and lawned areas with garden furniture to enjoy the spectacular views or you can sit in the extended lounge/diner with bifold doors overlooking the grounds. Secure gates to the front of the property open onto the driveway which can easily accommodate 4 cars whilst the garage is set aside as a space for family table tennis and darts matches. Note: Whilst Dogs are not allowed, the owners bring their dog when visiting, please bear this mind should you have any allergies.

Town: The village’s sweeping sandy beaches and dramatic fortress - Bamburgh Castle - make Bamburgh one of Northumberland’s major visitor attractions. The castle can be seen for miles and dominates this part of the county’s coastline. Today it remains home to the family of the great Victorian industrialist Lord Armstrong, and is open to the public on a daily basis. Although overshadowed by the great castle, Bamburgh village is picturesque with neat grey stone cottages facing a manicured village green. There are excellent pubs, hotels with restaurants and a small selection of village shops. There are golf courses in Bamburgh and nearby Seahouses, and within easy reach are more wide sandy beaches, lovely fishing villages, stunning castles and coastal islands to explore along the dramatic Heritage Coast. There are numerous other attractions also a short drive away, including the famous Alnwick Castle and Gardens and the historic walled border town, Berwick-upon-Tweed. A superb base for exploring Northumberland.
