Nestled in the sought-after seaside village of Heacham, you are sure to fall for the quirky charms of this stylish retreat. With a feature spiral staircase leading to the first floor, the living room is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The well-equipped kitchen and dining room are open plan, which helps to maintain the fresh and spacious feel. On the first floor you will find a triple bunk room, with a double bed at the bottom and a single bed at the top and a king size bed in the master bedroom too. Here you will also find the contemporary shower/wet room. The enclosed garden provides a lovely sunny patio area with garden furniture which is perfect for your morning coffee or indeed a sundowner.
Heacham itself is packed with facilities but the jewel in the crown must be the wide sandy beach with its undulating sand dunes, a firm favourite with locals and visitors alike. In fact, this whole coastline is packed with gorgeous places to explore including creeks and harbours, little quaysides, salt and clay marshes and indeed the famous stripey cliffs at nearby Hunstanton. The local is also resplendent with sites of historical interest such as the Sandringham, Houghton and Holkham Estates, Peckover House, Castle Rising and Castle Acre and the old quarter of Hanseatic Kings Lynn.
With wildlife, golf courses, walks and cycle routes in abundance too, there really is something for everyone in this part of Norfolk. After working up an appetite with all that sightseeing and indeed the lovely sea air, you will be pleased to discover that this part of Norfolk has lots of choices of great places to eat, many of which serve seasonal local produce. And after all that fun, you get to return to Johnson Cottage, relax, unwind and dream of adventures yet to come. Just lovely!
