Summary:
A blend between a traditional Canarian townhouse and a modern Brooklyn loft, this home is guaranteed to offer you a unique experience. Located in the heart of the old town of Triana and Vegueta, you will find a wide variety of great restaurants nearby, as well as multiple shops, museums and theatres.
The Space:
This beautiful townhouse has received the 'emblematic house' designation due to its architectural and historical importance. The centre column of the building with its windows looking up to the sky is truly remarkable. As you walk up the staircase to the first floor you find the master bedroom with its en-suite bathroom, as well as a studio that can be easily converted into a second bedroom for 2 more people. One floor more up and you find yourself on a private roof-top terrace equipped with a barbecue and a shower to refresh yourself from the sun.
The Neighborhood:
Towards the south of Gran Canaria’s capital city, Vegueta and Triana was the original settlement that gave birth to Las Palmas at the end of the 15th Century. Its streets and squares contain historical buildings such as the Casa de Colon mansion, Santa Ana cathedral, the Museo Canario museum, Gabinete Literario club, town hall and Centro Atlántico de Arte Moderno gallery. The area around the market, built in 1856, is full of shops and over the road is the Triana shopping district.
