It is a beautiful place that provides a spectacular view of the ocean. The view of Morro Rock from the kitchen window even makes doing dishes fun.

Loved our time at this lovely beachside cottage. Beautiful setting. So relaxing to listen and watch the ocean. Our family made memories at the firepit. We can’t wait to come back.

Amazing Place

The views and the vibe were fantastic. It was a wonderful place for a family beach vacation. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed for making meals, including a gas grill for cooking outside. All the rooms were cozy and nice. Can't beat the view of the beach and Morro Rock.

Floors are beautiful and easy to clean. Being close to town and right on the ocean make this place perfect. We will be back and rent this house again. Cayucos is the perfect town with the best beach on the Central Coast. Thanks for the clean and very nice house to rent

Thanksgiving at This Beachfront Home

We had a great time cooking Thanksgiving dinner in the large kitchen in this beach house. The windows are large and face the water. We enjoyed the ocean and beach from both inside and outside of the house. The direct access to the beach from the backyard is a real plus as is the firepit. The beds were comfortable and the property management service was excellent. We recommend this property!

Spectacular view from patio, kitchen, and front room. We've stayed here twice before. It's an older home, nicely maintained, well stocked with kitchen utensils which we like because we don't go out. I cook all meals. We will come back.

Cute cottage, cozy and very nice on the inside. Million dollar view. Nights are quiet, aside from the animals that make their way across the roof once in a while. Firepit was nice, we bought wood in town. Note that you can’t walk to town on the beach around high tide, but the walk is lovely around low tide. The walk on the road to town is just fine, low traffic. Overall fabulous stay, would unreservedly recommend.

The home is a nostalgic beach cottage with nice touches that make it five star. The local property management was great and dealt with our issues swiftly and professionally. The windows facing the ocean were very clean which is not always the case on the coast. Wi-Fi worked well even outside. The location is spectacular. The home is classic beach not contemporary glam. We chose this property for the location and were comfortable in all regards. Fire pit and green grass were welcome touches. We would love to return.

Beachfront Bliss

We stayed here for the first time 5 years ago and I knew I wanted to come back. The house and location are perfect. We booked again for next October for 2 weeks and bringing our grandkids. The only issue we had was not enough toilet paper and there were no trash bags. One of the umbrellas on the deck broke off the base so we laid it down on the deck. It was rusted out. Looking forward to next year.

Excellent family beach house

We've stayed at this house 3 times. The view of the ocean is spectacular and the private beach access is wonderful. The house and furnishings are old but clean and fairly well maintained. The house would benefit from grab bars in the tub and shower; oiling the sliding door that sticks; fixing the rotator mechanism on the indoor rattan chairs. A box of kleenex would be nice. Bottom line: we've reserved for next year. This is one of the very best houses for rent in Cayucos. It's a good value.

Cute beach house

Cleaning lady needs to be replaced. Paper products should always be kept in dry cupboards. Not in areas that may leak and soak items like toilet paper. Running out of toilet paper during a vacation is displeasurable. Finding lots of dirty dishes is disgusting.

Beautiful location and views!

Everything was nice - clean, etc. Except we had an ant infestation on the second morning. There was no ant spray and the ant poison containers that were in a couple locations in the kitchen were empty. There should be ant spray available. Also, we arrived after dark and there were no lights on, and there is not address number on the outside of the house. We used the photo of the house to locate it. Should have a house number easily viewable.

Fantastic location for a cozy cottage

This house has two amazing things going for it - a lovely story about how it came to be and the location. We spent 5 days here and it flew by. The views never get tiring. The house is very comfortable and the check-in process was super easy. The property was very clean when we got in. It was well stocked with plates, glasses and cutlery. However, the pots and pans need to be replaced. They were quite worn out and old and made cooking in them (and the clean-up) difficult. The bathrooms were in good condition and the appliances were all in working condition. Cayucos is not a big town at all and you could easily walk from the property to all the restaurants, shops and cafes. There is easy access to Highway 1 as well.

Cozy Oceanside

The house in general was cozy and sufficient. The oceanfront Beach access was awesome! Water heater kept up with our seven family members . Kitchen was great ! Few minor things was discouraging, fireplace did not work, some spider webs that should have been dealt with, unfortunately when we were leaving we found a large area of black mold on a wall. Cleaning staff should have had that under control. Vacasa company is not being run the same as it was before covid. I had used it a few times before with great customer service. After this experience now I will never use vacasa again!

Amazing beach house but unreasonable ck out time

We have visited this house for years to spend Christmas with family and we love it. While it is an older home, it has been meticulously maintained, right on oceanfront. My only complaint is the new unreasonable check-out time of 10 o’clock. I was expected to strip the beds, get laundry started, get dishes done-that was really a challenge as 6 people vacated the house.
