Railway station with regular trains to Paisley, Glasgow and beyond. Howwood is only 30 minutes’ drive from Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park, one of Scotland’s most picturesque areas. The cosmopolitan city of Glasgow is easily reached for a day out and offers shopping, restaurants, theatres and galleries. Stirling is easily accessible for the day and well worth a trip with its ancient castle, once belonging to Mary, Queen of Scots.

The Old Stables being set in a lovely peaceful area just a few minutes to the local village where you will find General store, pubs and popular restaurant. Go for walks and explore the local countryside and woodlands. The Old Stables is an extension to the owner’s beautiful house but has its own private entrance. There is plenty of parking space.
