The property has been beautifully refurbished throughout with some unique and sympathetic restorations including exposed beamed ceilings, bespoke woodwork, a contemporary kitchen, stylish bathroom and a homely living room complete with a wood burner.
Upon entering you will be welcomed into the dining area with a table and bench seating, perfect for enjoying a home-cooked meal after a fun-filled day exploring Devon. The living room offers a cosy place to unwind, coordinated with a comfortable sofa, armchairs, a Smart TV and a wood burning stove to warm those cooler evenings. There is also a well equipped kitchen for the chef of the family to enjoy. Discover the two bedrooms upstairs; the first with a kingsize bed and the other with a double bed. Please be aware that the staircase is quite steep and narrow and the windows open fully without any restrictions therefore it isnât suitable for children under the age of 9 to be accommodated.
The property is well situated in the centre of Puddington village which is approximately nine miles from the town of Tiverton and eight miles from Crediton. This part of Devon is an excellent touring base with easy access to lots of places of interest. Nearby you can explore the Two Moors Way, visit RHS Rosemoor, The Grand Western Canal, Knightshayes House or the breathtaking scenery at Exmoor National Park, a short drive away. There are plenty of National Trust properties in the area, as well as some fabulous villages and farm shops. The accommodation is set midway between Devonâs two coastlines, convenient for a day out to either. The award-winning North Devon coastline is within a 50 minute drive with its golden sandy surfing beaches and the Jurassic South Devon coastal beauty spots are within an hourâs drive. Pub and restaurant 2 miles.
