Voortrekker Shetland adult only apartments & Spa (with hot tub & sauna) have unspoilt breathtaking views across the South East side of Shetland, right from the comfort of the place.
Our in-house apartments are all self contained, "Mogill" sits alongside "Soothpunds" on the North East of the main building. This quaint apartment offers stunning panoramic views, looking north to the cliffs of Noss & across the east horizon.
Mogill has a well appointed kitchenette area with fold up table, double settee, king bed, shower room & extra storage closet. Mogill is uniquely handcrafted like all our apartments from historical reclaimed local materials, with everything needed to relax & enjoy a holiday whilst taking in the stunning scenery.
Enjoy beautiful morning sunrises from the patio with summer BBQ area, taking in natures best. Whether in bed, dining or sitting one is surrounded by breathtaking views.
Levenwick beach is minutes by car, 25mins to Lerwick, 40mins to the North. Idyllic place to bird watching, sea life, rambling across the cliffs and much more. Levenwick is ideally situated within easy access to the main road to explore the whole island.
SPA AREA (included & not shared): Offers a private Spa area with hot-tub and sauna. Bring along your swimmers, sit back, relax and enjoy the panoramic views across the Southpunds to the cliffs.

We greet our guests on arrival and show to the apartment. Guests have their own private access to their apartments. There is direct access from our property to venture across the fields onto the Levenwick Cliffs below.
We are committed to a high standard of cleaning which has as always been at the top of our list.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Shetland has very changeable weather, one can experience four seasons in one day so come prepared and pop some midge repellent in with your essentials.
Travelling can be challenging with our weather so expect the odd delay.
NB: We recommend travelling with essentials in your ""hand luggage"" in the event your bag does not turn up on arrival.
Please let us know if you have any pet allergies or animal phobias. We have two tiny human friendly dogs. Due to our dogs, having a heart condition and anxiety issues we are unable to accept any animal..

We love the thrill and vibe of the tourist season. Being a part of the guest experience makes what we do worth every minute of it. We enjoy engaging with guests but also senstive to their privacy.
Living in Shetland has given a sense of peace and freedom that is second to none and we see this as our forever place to live.
We have 2 wee dogs, a part time Bishcon, chickens, 2 goats and a herd of sheep that reside with us on our property.

All our apartments having been uniquely handcrafted by my husband with a rustic, modern feel. The splendour of the views from the property plus comfort of the apartments often keeps our guests chilling before heading out and about. Then there is the spa area, perfect place to relax and unwind.
