Sommer in den Bergen!

Schöne Holzböden im Obergeschoss, knotige Kiefer Akzente, natürliche Stein Herd mit Gaskamin schafft eine komfortable Kabine Einstellung.

Geräumiges, offenes, großes Zimmer mit 2 großen Esstischen über 12 und Billardtisch. Voll ausgestattete Gourmetküche, in der Köche an allen großartigen Raumaktivitäten und Gesprächen teilnehmen können.

2 identische große Master-Suiten im Obergeschoss und im Erdgeschoss - beide mit Kingsize-Betten, eigenem Bad mit Doppelwaschbecken, Dusche und Whirlpools. Der Master im Erdgeschoss verfügt über einen großen begehbaren Kleiderschrank, der Master im Obergeschoss verfügt über einen Kleiderbügel und einen Tisch für die Kleidung der Gäste.

Das dritte Schlafzimmer hat ein französisches Bett, das vierte Schlafzimmer hat zwei Etagenbetten - ein Doppelstockbett und ein normales Etagenbett. Unten Bonus Zimmer verfügt über ein Doppel-Etagenbett.

Alle drei Vollbäder haben beheizte Fliesenböden, ein Leckerbissen für kühle Wintertage.

Extra Doppelwaschbecken im Erdgeschoss hat eine große Doppelkopfdusche. Diese Dusche hat eine Volldampfsauna.

Das Spielzimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügt über eine Wet Bar, Mini-Kühlschrank, Esstisch, Tischtennis, Tischfußball, Stereoanlage und TV. Eine perfekte Flucht für die Kinder.

Grill aus Edelstahl auf dem Deck (Schnee erlaubt).

Lange fast flache private Auffahrt - 2 PKW-Garage. Rückschläge für alle Nachbarn bieten viel Privatsphäre. Zugang zu Wanderwegen im Freiraum hinter der Hütte und in der gesamten Nachbarschaft.

Gästeausweise für den Zugang zu den Annehmlichkeiten der Tahoe Donner Association erhalten Sie gegen eine tägliche Gebühr pro Person. Beispiele: voll ausgestattetes Fitness-Center, Pools, Whirlpools, Donner Lake Beach. Tahoe Donner Association Trout Creek Zentrum ist 6 Minuten entfernt.

Das Haus ist komplett eingerichtet für Spaß, Familie, Komfort und Entspannung. Tahoe Donner, die Stadt Truckee, CA und die Umgebung bieten viele Aktivitäten wie Skifahren, Golf, Tennis, Schwimmen, Wandern, Radfahren, Bootfahren, Fitness-Center und vieles mehr!

This lovely cabin had everything our group needed and was close to an ideal ski slope. Our guest using a wheelchair had an easy time getting in and out and moving around the main floor. We used the hot tub and played in the snow out back. It really was a perfect house and we loved staying there.

Host was super communicative. Property has a nice backyard area great for playing in the snow and mini sled rides. Tom heated the hot tub so it was good to go when we got in. We’d go back in a heartbeat!

We were impressed with every aspect of the rental. Location to ski resorts, proximity to Hwy 80 (safer), very well stocked house and kitchen, well heated (dual thermostats and heated bathroom tiles!), and of course friendly and responsive hosts. Would love to visit again!

Great space for two families!

This is an incredible home for multiple families visiting the Tahoe area. The layout is wonderful and has plenty of space to spread out across two floors, including a "play room" where the kids can hang out downstairs. There is plenty to do - hot tub, pool, games, etc. The hosts were also incredible, sending more useful and detailed instructions than we've ever received in our 10 years renting in this area. We will definitely be back!!!!

Amazing stay

The house had a well-stocked kitchen, a lot of amenities for entertainment and a very nice hot tub. Everything was in great condition and worked well. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were able to sled near the house. It was by far the nicest vacation rentals we've stayed in Truckee. We'd love to come back again soon.

Great for multiple families

This cabin was a great fit for two families. The two en-suite primary bedrooms allowed for a comfortable stay for the parents. And the kids loved the separate “hang out” space downstairs with ping pong, foosball, and plenty of space to play. It was a great set up for everyone to have fun and enjoy there time at the cabin.

Our family of 10 - 6 adults, 4 kids - had a great summer vacation at the Cozy Copenhagen cabin. It checked all our boxes - long driveway and flat street for the kids to ride bikes, flat back yard in the woods for the kids to safely explore, a rec room for the family to enjoy puzzles, ping pong, fusbal, a great hot tub and pool table, a work out area, and close to a trail head for hiking. The kitchen was superbly equipped for a large family; sleeping arrangements were great; the home was well maintained and in perfect working order. The hosts were very responsive and professional and detail oriented to provide us all the information we needed. We'll definitely be back!

A fantastic stay!

The owner was super nice and responsive when we first had an issue with the Wi-Fi network, which was recently updated to a faster router, but the instructions were still for the previous one. This house is very well equipped, and we like cooking so it was pretty delightful to be able to enjoy preparing good food! It has a pool table, ping pong, and the best fussball table I've ever played on. All and all, a great stay!

Exactly What We Were Looking For

This beautiful cabin is exactly what we were looking for when booking a vacation with another family. The two master suites were perfect for the two couples, and the extra rooms with queen beds and bunks were great for our combined 4 adult children. The cabin was spacious and clean in a quiet neighborhood. The pool table, ping pong table and foosball table provided plenty of entertainment for the 8 of us. We had as much fun at the cabin as we did taking in all the activities that the area had to offer. We were all sad to leave!

Three generation ski vacation

We very much enjoyed this well equipped home. There was space for everyone and two great party rooms. The hot tub was clean and worked great. We were a little concerned about the sloping long driveway to the garage, but the salt put out in the morning took care of that. The owners kept us informed regarding care in a storm and we had fun relaxing time. The boys had great fun sliding down the side of the house after a foot of snow was dumped.

great host and perfect getaway

let me start off by saying we chose the worst weekend to visit Truckee. it was a blizzard all weekend and we saw the sun for about two hours the whole time there. the McConnell’s were amazing hosts!! He kept me and my family updated on the drive up there as well as making sure we’d get there and on property safely. So thank you for that. Most hosts don’t really think about the road conditions and even go as far as communicating with us the best roads and updates on road closure. The property was big and spacious for my family and I. We had a great time. Our children were able to sled down on the side of the house while being stuck in for a bit. The host also gave us informative instructions on how all things are used in the binder for the property. All in all we were very satisfied. Thank you.

Great House - Owners not so much

The house was nice, although there were still food in the fridge and the baby gate was unsecured and I had to re-screw it in for Security. The table tennis table bats were beaten up and the net was not usable. The hot tub was in good condition. The pool table was in good shape but the 2 lights were dim and off center making is super tough to play, easy fix. The garage is a bit weird as there was a fridge completely full of food. Our group had a service dog and the owner charged back 1000 to our credit card. We disputed this with VRBO and won the money back as there was a confusion about an emotional support dog versus a service dog. Either way a bit of compassion would've been nice.

Upon checking in, Brandon communicated this about our property: "We’re just checking in and everything looks great..." While checking out, Brandon communicated this about his stay: "Your house was really great. So well stocked and looked after. FYI the table tennis net is a little warn out, we didn’t break it. Could we request an 11am checkout? I have also reviews your checkout instructions 👍🏻." Brandon's review on VRBO was written after I asked Brandon about the animal he had with him. When I communicated with Brandon, I followed the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) law and asked Brandon the only allowable questions. Brandon replied he had an "emotional support dog". I informed Brandon under the ADA law an emotional support dog is a pet and thus he violated the "no pets" policy for the cabin. Brandon tried to claim his emotional support dog was actually a service dog. He provided a photo id of his dog that claimed it was a service dog. The photo id was issued from a web site that states it will issue one of these photo badges to any dog in the country and that it does not certify or indicate in any way that the dog is a service dog. Those that have a service animal understand that there is no such thing as a photo id for a service animal nor is it necessary. Our compassion lies with those that fought hard to get the ADA rights enacted into law across the land and truly need the rights granted therein.

Enough space for our families to gather for meals and for teens to bond in the game room. The extra bunk in the game room worked well for two youth to split from the bunk room. The kitchen was extremely well stocked as we cooked most meals for the 11 of us. Would definitely book again.

Superb!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying here for our Winter ski break. The home was far above and beyond the description and photos on VRBO. Very clean, spacious, comfortable, and well appointed. Kitchen was outfitted for cooks and big gatherings, big TV's had access to Netflix and other streaming services, pool table and pingpong for after skiing, beds were super comfortable. The two identical master suites were perfect for our two families, with 3 other bedrooms for the kids to spread out. The owner went out of his way to make sure the driveway was plowed, with access to the garage--Thank you! Plenty of room to find a private space for quite time alone, or convene in the great room to socialize in front of the fireplace. Owners communicated well and were very helpful if we had questions. We will definitely come back.

Great vacation housing

House is nice, warm and clean. Very fun for little kids. Convenient to Boreal and Squaw valley.

Active couple that love to travel but most of all spend time when we can up in the Tahoe area. We love to ski and bike - hard for us to decide what we like best - summer or winter in the Truckee area.

This property had it all for us - privacy, large great room, and space to spread out for the kids. My brother and I rented a cabin in Tahoe Donner the Christmas before we bought this place and it had 2 master suites - it made it very easy for the 2 of us to have our families there and we didn't have to fight over who got the master bedroom. When we saw this cabin was available with the same feature it really stood out for us.

Long relatively flat driveway was something we were really looking for - we had experiences at other cabins with steep driveways and we didn't want to have to deal with that. We have a great plow service but keep in mind - Truckee can get some big storms and the plow services can only come once a day so there are no guarantees the snow will be cleared at the exact time you want to get in our out - this is part of the experience and adventure of being up in snow country.
