Several other remote beaches and the 370-foot-high Dodman Point, towering above Gorran, which is believed to be one of Cornwall's most stunning headlands and the site of numerous shipwrecks, are all within walking distance. Views of Veryan Bay and Vault Beach can be seen from its gorse-covered heights to the west and east, respectively.
