The renowned Settle-Carlisle Railway travels through some of the nation's most breathtaking and inspiring upland landscapes. The surrounding Dales towns of Skipton and Malham, as well as natural wonders like Malham Cove and Gordale Scar, are both easily accessible. Settle is a superb starting point for exploring the Dales, the Lake District, and the Forest of Bowland because it is surrounded by wonderful walking terrain.
