Town: In the county of Cheshire, the market town of Frodsham sits at the foot of Overton Hill, with a view of the Mersey Estuary and is only 11 miles from Chester's city centre. In addition to a weekly market on the high street and numerous specialty shops, pubs, and wine bars, the town's historic centre is thriving. The Sandstone Trail begins just outside the Bears Paw pub in the heart of Frodsham and extends 34 miles past Delamere Forest to Whitchurch, Shropshire. A t owpath walks along the River Weaver allowing visitors to see Dutton Locks and the famous Anderton Boat Lift further downstream. The North Cheshire Way, which connects the Wirral to the Peak District, is a 70-mile long route perfect for serious walkers.
