Capitola lebt von seiner schönsten Seite! Bleiben Sie im Herzen des Dorfes mit Blick auf das Meer und den Bach. Der Strand Capitola, Restaurants und Geschäfte sind nur einen Block entfernt. Dieses reizvolle Cottage am Wasser liegt nur wenige Schritte von Soquel Creek, dem "Fluss" und einem privaten Garten am Wasser entfernt. Das Cottage ist komplett möbliert und bietet ein Schlafzimmer und ein Bad sowie ein Schrankbett im Wohnzimmer. Es gibt eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Essbereich und eine Terrasse. Waschmaschine / Trockner sind in der Garage. Gäste können ein Auto auf der linken Seite der Garage und eines in der Mitte des Carports auf der Straße dahinter parken. Entspannen Sie am "Fluss" oder spazieren Sie zum Dorf oder Strand. Shadowbrook Restaurant und viele andere Favoriten sind in der Nähe. Lebensmittelgeschäfte, Banken usw. sind ca. 800 m entfernt. Another delightful stay!

This is our 4th time staying a week in the charming cottage. It has become our all-time favorite vacation spot. The view, the village, the shops, the railroad trestle and of course dinner at Shadowbrook! The cottage is quaint, with lots of history and the deck is outfitted with wicker rocking chairs , umbrellas and a table. A great place to watch the people walking by on their way to the beach.

Charming perfectly located cottage.

Comfortable cottage for two. Loved covered parking, good WiFi, full kitchen & comfortable bed. Nice bathroom remodel, and handy washer/dryer. Watching holiday floats on adjacent waterway was an unexpected plus. Property manager, Janet Russel, responded quickly as we became familiar with property layout.

Wonderful

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful spot in Capitola. It is steps away from restaurants, shops, and the beach. The weather was just perfect and the view from the living room, or from the outdoor area, was so beautiful and relaxing. The house was nicely decorated and set up with everything we needed. The location was also the perfect jumping-off point for many adventures around Monterey Bay. Just wonderful.

Locations is tops! From the deck you can enjoy the Soquel Creek or in a distance the beach and ocean, plus it’s only a very short walk to town. Everything was fine, except owner needs to put a shade on the window by the table in the living room/eating area as this is also where the murphy bed is located. Highly recommend this cute one bedroom one bath historical home.

Another glorious visit!

This is the third time we have stayed in this delightful cabin on the river. This quaint cottage brings back my days of visiting Capitola in the 60’s. It’s right on the river, a few houses from the bridge. You can enjoy the river view, the ocean view with a touch of the colorful Venetian, and be steps away from the village. This is by far our favorite stay as we relax on the deck and interact with the passerby’s as they trek to the beach. Of course we have to take the free antique taxi to Shadowbrook for a magical date at this famous restaurant. Be sure to take the funicular down to the restaurant for an extra treat. The cottage has all the amenities that you need to make your own dinners as well as wifi and tv. And of course Capitola is close to Santa Cruz as well as many other attractions in this area. A gem of a place!!

Sweet spot

I loved this cabin! You couldn’t ask for a better location. Beautiful view of the river and beach, right in the village with a fun neighborhood vibe. The cabin is perfectly stocked, very comfortable and clean. Janet was easy to do business work and very accommodating. I’m a local and will definitely rent this cabin again. Very special.

Great little historic cottage.

We had a very comfortable time in this 1915 cottage. Sitting by the window seeing the rage of the creek during the rains were exiting. Janet and the owner were very responsive when we had issues with the heater. Thank you!

River Entertainment

Loved the quaint cabin on the river. There was always something happening on the river and we loved sitting our on the patio each night. The birds were so much fun to watch- herons, egrets and of course ducks and gulls.
