The patio doors in the main living room lead onto decking where there is seating to sit and enjoy the spectacular views. The large garden has plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air, a barbeque area, pergola and garden seating.
Ballachulish is a lovely highland village with many amenities including a Supermarket, tourist information with coffee shop and a bar/restaurant and there are some fabulous restaurants, cafés and pubs nearby, all serving good, local food. It’s close to historic scenic Glencoe and surrounded by the most breath-taking scenery of mountains and lochs. This area is renowned for its outdoor pursuits and offers a large range of sports and outdoor activities, including winter sports, hill walking, climbing, mountaineering, fishing and water sports, mountain biking and golfing. Both Glencoe Mountain Resort and Fort William, known as the ‘Outdoor capital of the UK’, are only a short drive. Travel on the West Highland Steam Train (as depicted in the Harry Potter movie) to Mallaig, crossing the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct, or visit some of the unspoilt beaches, castles, museums, and distilleries. Boat trips to the inner isles including Mull and Iona are easily accessible, or take a day exploring the Ardnamurchan Peninsula. Oban, Loch Ness and the Isles of Skye and Mull are all within easy reach. Beach 10 miles.
