This charming property stands adjoining the owners’ farmhouse and offers a peaceful retreat with dark skies in a quiet location, visited by deer, barn owls and buzzards. The owners may be away occasionally, but help will always be on hand should guests require it. A single-storey barn conversion, it is reached via a farm track (1/3 mile). A hotel is at the end of the farm drive, a bistro is opposite the hotel gates, and the village of Scalby, with its two pubs, café and village shop, is within walking distance. Scarborough, Filey, Robin Hood’s Bay and Whitby are nearby, and the farm is set on the edge of the North York Moors National Park, which is an excellent base for walking in stunning countryside. Beach 3 miles. Pubs 1 mile. This is a working farm and farm vehicles, tractors and trailers, use the ‘farm track’. The potholes are filled at Easter and are very much subject to the weather! Please bear this in mind when booking.
