Wir haben ein Blockhaus aus dem Jahr 1850 demontiert und eine Meile weit verlegt und es auf unserer 160 Hektar großen Farm in Middle Tn wieder zusammengebaut. Nur 50 Meilen westlich von Nashville. Wir fügten es hinzu und brauchten zwei Jahre, um das Projekt abzuschließen. Wir haben innen alles Altholz verwendet. Es ist ein einzigartiges und sehr einzigartiges Anwesen mit Kastanienholz und Pappeln durch das Haus. Es kann jetzt gemietet werden. Es befindet sich oberhalb eines Baches mit einfachem Zugang. Private 163 Hektar Wald mit Rad- und Wanderwegen. Erleben Sie als einer der Ersten die Geschichte dieser alten handgefertigten Holzscheite. Genießen Sie unsere riesige Feuerstelle im Freien. Wir schneiden das Holz. Du machst Feuer !!!!

Unique to the Max

What a unique home and property! Where you can you stay in bonafide cabin replete with animal mounts (it's like a museum) and vintage decor but with all the modern conveniences to make for a comfortable stay. To top it off, you would be hard pressed to find a more hospitable and helpful host/owner than Jerry and his wife! Not only are they top of the shelf hosts, it's worth your time to draw out of them their life experiences. Talk about unique!

Another great stay

We’ve traveled the world and rented in many places, but this is the first property we’ve gone back to for another stay. We love the location, the acres of trails, the fishing hole (especially great for kids), and the serenity. Jerry and Janice are wonderful hosts and extremely knowledgeable about the area. Great spot for a more relaxed batchelor party experience

The best kept cabin I've ever stayed in. The beautiful remote property features so much to do without ever having to leave. A great place to have peace and quiet while celebrating a dear friend entering holy matrimony, or a family getaway. We certainly plan on coming back.

Great time with family

We had a wonderful time hiking, playing in the creek and just spending quality time with our kids. The cabin is amazing and the property is beautiful. Jerry and Janice have put a lot of work into Yellow Creek Retreat and it shows.

Great Place!

We had a great time at Jerry and Janice's cabin! They are so nice and thoughtful, they found out it was our anniversary and had a cake there waiting. They were also able to get a great babysitter so we could go enjoy Nashville just my husband and I! So many great things to do there!

This is a very neat place. The history is absolutely amazing, gorgeous property, gorgeous home the owners couldn't have been any better hosts. Yellow Creek Cabin Retreat...Spectacular!!!

This remarkably restored, one-of-a-kind cabin is located on one of the most breathtaking plots of land in Tennessee!!! The Crawfords have succeeded in creating a private Smokey Mountain masterpiece right here in the rolling hills of Middle TN! They are fantastic hosts who can recount in detail the history surrounding this cabin and the adjoining lands. If you like to retreat in style with all the modern day trimmings and enjoy nature in all its glory, you MUST visit this place!

Perfectly Peaceful Place

My family and I had the most wonderful time at this beautiful retreat. It's perfectly located with beautiful surroundings and a nice creek that you can hear while sitting out on the spacious porch at night. The grandchildren enjoyed playing in the creek. There is a wonderful firepit where you can gather around a fire at night with friends or family. The host is the best and very friendly and provided everything that we needed. We can't wait to get together again at this lovely and perfectly located log house.

Crystal clear creek

The spacious property is nice for all ages. The hot, humid temps were not even noticed while we swam in the crystal clear swimming hole and the creek. Jerry and Janice were great hosts! The fire pit was a hit each evening! Thanks for providing a place for our family memories.

What a Great Place

It was such a Beautiful place! The inside and outside was gorgeous!! The craftsmanship and beautiful decor was homey and welcoming. Jerry and Janice didn’t miss a thing...even saved us fresh tomatoes from the garden in the back yard!! We saw wild turkey and deer. Fished in the creek, & for us Arizona people it was a treat to see Fire Flies too! It was a perfect vacation and we can’t wait to make it back next year!!!

WONDERFUL TIME!

This rental is a hidden treasure! Only a short drive to Nashville and was in a perfect central location for our needs. The master bedroom has the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept in. I’m quite picky ability cleanliness and the house was in immaculate shape! Property owners were very accommodating and helpful in making sure we had everything we needed. We made memories here that will last a lifetime, and can’t wait to go again!

Everything about this house is amazing. The bedding is the most comfortable we have had in any rental. Jerry and Janice and extremely friendly and add special touches to the vacation. They meet us at the house at check in and showed us around the property, 163 acres, and told us about all the little secret places to fish, kayak, and swim. Truly a wonderful relaxing week. The ability to get off the beaten path and relax was amazing. Wildlife surrounded the home each day and the walking trails were excellent. We enjoyed the running spring fed stream and the tranquil ambience of the location. The canoe trip down yellow creek was a memory we will not forget as the water was crystal clear and the small mouth biting around every turn. We will be back soon! Stunning place!

What a fantastic place this is. First of all, this is a beautiful property in a very quiet setting with 100% privacy. Its spotless clean and it has all amenities you can think if. The log house was built a couple of years ago and has been furnished with very high quality furniture and equipment. There are also tons of things to do. With over 163 acres of private property all by yourself one can go biking, hiking or fishing without every having to leave the property. The fire pit and grill are great for relaxing and preparing food, and there are lots of games (indoor and outdoor) to not have to be bored. The host, Jerry, is extremely responsive and welcoming, and he showed us around his properties and also took us to the Yellow Creek. I very highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to relax in a quiet environment with all the amenities and luxury one needs.

Amazing location, away from the crowds and a wonderful cabin to call home

I booked this trip for my family that spread out over 4 generations. Jerry and his wife went above and beyond any expectation I could have imagined to make my family feel welcomed and taken care of as I was not able to accompany them on this trip. It was intended to make memories, but from the stories I heard it did much much more than that. The cabin itself is a master piece of fine craftsmanship that can be appreciated from the outside to the inside, down to the smallest detail. The porches, the fire pit, the decorations, the landscaping, the trails to explore, the spacious accommodations were unlike anything you will ever expect. The feeling of being home while on vacation becomes a given at this magical place and you don’t want to leave. In fact, it was said that the eldest member of the generations could live out her remaining days here and would be better prepared for the glories that heaven has to offer, cause it felt like she was already in heaven by the end of the trip. Not only was the place itself wonderful, but you get the entire package with the attentiveness of the owners. This started out as a last minute trip to end the summer, it became so much more. We will be back!

Old house was on the property when I bought it, so I moved it to save and restore. It is one of a kind with so much detail in finishing the home. Decorating it was a blast according to my wife. Watch out for the brown bear standing in the dogtrot.

Private 185 acres to explore. Joins a private 4000 acre game preserve . Visit old house site where the cisterns still intact with cold spring water running 24 hrs a day. Set in rocker on front porch with a glass of wine and chill out while sun goes down and watch kids play in the creek. Very serene.
