Professional renters that will not stay here EVER again!
We were originally supposed to stay from Sat, 11th Nov till Monday, 13th Nov 2023, due to wanting to stay in the Midlands for the weekend.
However, due to the list below, we only stayed ONE day and checked out on Sunday, 12th Nov.
1. We arrived at 2.50 pm for the automatic check-in using the keypad, which would activate at 3 pm. It was only at 3.30 pm that we contacted the Haus office to get the keypad code, which should have been sent by email at 3 pm.
2. The house was freezing upon entering, even though we had made full payment and received confirmation several days before.
3. The internet was not working even after turning it on and off. This would not have been a problem, but the smart TV needed an internet connection to work, so once again, we had to ring them to send a chap to fix this.
The internet chap came around and spent over 1 hour trying to fix this after saying it would take five minutes, which was crazy because it was cold, and no internet meant my wife, and I were waiting for this stranger to fix this for over an hour!
These are the other things:
1) The front door handle from the inside was broken.
2) The front door would not open (maybe because of point one), so we had to use the side door.
3) The flooring in the corridor was loose
4) 10 days after the deposit date, did the £300 deposit come back
In conclusion, I asked for a refund on the extra day and was told they tried sorting stuff out, so no refund would be given!
Crazy and never again!
