Region: Cornwall’s visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britain’s premier holiday destinations.
Town: Gunnislake is a small rural village located on the steeply forested banks of the Tamar River. It has a couple of village pubs and a few shops. Notably, the village is located at one end of the picturesque Tamar Valley Railway, which provides regular services along the river bank to Plymouth. The area is ideal for exploring Dartmoor, the beaches of Cornwall's south and north coasts, and the attractions of Cornwall's west coast.
