Built in the mid-1800s this charming former mill workers cottage is small but perfectly formed. Nestling in the pretty Alkham valley, in the village of Temple Ewell, the cottage is a little haven for couples to relax and enjoy village life surrounded by lovely scenery, great walks and the vibrant towns of Deal, Dover and Canterbury all within an easy drive. The nearby picturesque Kearsney Abbey gardens and tearoom, and the Bushy Ruff nature reserve are well worth a visit.
This cosy cottage has a sitting room and kitchen on the ground floor, and upstairs is a bedroom and shower room. The garden to the rear offers a lovely sunny spot to relax after a busy day sightseeing. The village has a local pub, The Fox, which is a popular and friendly pub serving food, and there is a convenience store for those last-minute essentials.
