Stunning Barn Conversion in beautiful location

The Old Dairy is a stunning barn nestled in a small hamlet on the border of Bedfordshire and Cambridgeshire. Perfect for family and friends getaway with 5 ensuite bedrooms and everything you will need for a great break in the beautiful rolling countryside. Enjoy local villages or use as a base to explore Cambridge or London.
Our Barn has been lovingly converted to become a truly comfortable family home with great attention to detail. The large Barn doors open up into a spacious hallway which leads into a bright and airy kitchen diner. - the heart of the Barn! The kitchen provides seating at a large farmhouse table for 10 with additional 4 seats at the breakfast bar (an additional table is available for larger groups). The kitchen is well equipped and has dual aspect bi-folds opening onto a patio which has both gas and coal bbqs.
The hall also leads into a lovely country lounge with tranditional beams on display and a Smart TV with access to Sky TV. On the other side of the hall is the games room which has a large pool table for you to enjoy.
The 5 bedrooms on offer all have use of private bathroom (4 ensuite shower rooms and 1 bath/shower room). The main bedroom has spectacular views over the garden and open stretching countryside beyond and if you are an early riser you will have the most incredible sunrises! The 3 larger bedrooms have both double beds and double futons. There is also another futon located in a common area off one of the larger bedrooms. The 5th bedroom is a double room with beautiful beams and a large TV - perfect for any gamers in the family!
An indoor Utility area is available with washer and dryer. Linen and towels will be provided for 10 people but please advise ahead of arrival if you will be using the Futons and we will arrange for these also to be made up.
The garden is perfect for summer days with a beautiful pergola with huge garden sofa, a hammock, a tree hammock swing bed and sun beds. We have an outdoor dining area and for the kids there is plenty to keep them happy with a heated above ground pool (14ft available from mid April to Sept), a trampoline, football goal and badminton set.
We welcome well-behaved pooches and the garden is fully enclosed to keep them safe. The Barn is surrounded by farmland (no livestock) and there are plenty of public footpaths right on our doorstep for walks through our glorious countryside.

The Location
The Barn is located in a group of 7 properties and you will share a courtyard for parking. We are a 20 minute walk from a really lovely pub/restaurant - roaring fires in winter and sunny beer garden in the summer! We are a 5 min drive from the nearest village of Potton which has everything you need - butchers, bakery, small Tesco, couple of pubs, restaurants and take aways - but if you need a larger town we have a couple within 15 mins drive.
The stunning city of Cambridge is only 25 mins drive with plenty to see and do. London is 40 mins on the train and Luton and Stanstead Airports within an hours drive.

As we have neighbours we do not offer the Barn as a party venue but rather a lovely open social space to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet away from your normal life with friends and family in a beautiful rural setting.
