This is a great home! The home was extremely clean, very comfortable and very welcoming! The backyard was fantastic! We used the pool and jacuzzi multiple times, there were plenty of lounge chairs, as well as a fire pit, outdoor TV and dining table. Super comfortable beds and bedding, plenty of bath and beach towels, a well stocked kitchen and many little extras! The communication with the host was easy and responsive. This would be a great home to rent for a family with children! We truly enjoyed our time and cannot recommend the home more!

The house was fabulous and has everything you would need. There was a nice welcome basket with chips and snacks that was a really thoughtful touch. The beds were all extremely comfortable, even the Murphy bed in the casita. The pillows were a little big for me, but I always travel with my own pillow. We stay in rental homes often and I don’t leave too many reviews, but felt the need to post a review for this home as we all really enjoyed all the comforts and amenities. Nice and quiet for sleeping and Daniel’s response time was very prompt. Would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in the area. Thanks Daniel!

Your home was fantastic! We enjoyed it all. We appreciated the extra amenities. The dining room light never worked. It wasn’t an issue for us but maybe the next people. The last two days the outlets in all the bathrooms quit working. In the heavy rains, a spot in the kitchen ceiling was leaking. Right by the pantry closet. You will see the spot in the ceiling. There were four of us and we all loved this amazing house!! It’s well stocked with everything you could possibly need, it’s clean, comfortable, accommodating and close to a lot of great restaurants, shopping and fun. The host was very attentive and helpful when I had a few questions and he responded quickly. We will stay here again next time we visit Arizona except next time, we’ll bring more people with us because there’s so much space to enjoy!!! Also, the pool and hot tub, fire pit and grill made it extra fun, so bring your favorite pillows and head on over!!!

This Villa is Awesome!!

So much space! Beautiful pool and yard! Kitchen is stocked with so much! This home had ample space for our family of 5…we want to return with friends and there would still be plenty of space. Easy access, thorough instructions on how everything works; outdoor sound system, indoor sound system, smart tvs everywhere. Pool house is amazing! Can’t write enough good things about this place. The Perfect Getaway

Many positive things to say about this property and our stay. I'll start with Daniel who was an awesome host. He was quick to answer any and all questions that we had prior to our arrival and had the house setup just as we had requested. The check in was easy and the house was well stocked. (Having rented many homes, I feel this is an underrated quality.) The property itself looks just like the pictures and the neighborhood is quiet. You definitely get a feel that you are at your own private resort. We spent six nights here for a golf trip and wish we could have stayed longer.

We stayed for 3 nights after leaving a different VRBO of which we started for 9 nights. We paid so much more at our other location and this one was so much better for so many reasons! Wish I would have known about this one before and we all agreed we would have stayed here! So much to offer and everything we needed. Beds super comfortable and TVs were great. Great location. Best rental ever!

Right from the start we felt assured by the impeccable communication coming from Daniel. We could tell from the questions he was asking and his responses that he legitimately cares about making sure his guests have a great experience. The rooms/beds were setup as we had requested and the pool was warmed on our arrival. We were super-impressed by how clean and comfortable the property is. The pictures accurately portray the property. We loved the setup - the pool house was perfect to have a separate space and the beds were all clean, comfortable, and had great linens. The bathrooms were likewise very clean and well maintained. The fruit trees on the property were delightful. Daniel clearly has put thought and effort into anticipating what a vacation traveller would need. It was the little touches everywhere that showed that care - a nice welcome amenity, travel toiletries, makeup accessories, k-cups/nespresso pods, etc. The kitchen was well stocked with ample and good quality silverware and dishes, appliances, and cutlery. We enjoyed having the patio door slider wide open for an indoor-outdoor feel. We enjoyed the outdoor seating areas. We appreciated the clear directions to setup the indoor and outdoor bluetooth speaker systems to our phones. We all loved the pool/hot tub and we appreciated it being heated upon our request. Overall a great stay, probably the best VRBO we've stayed in! Would definitely rent again from Daniel. Thank you!

Great Weekend

We were in Scottsdale with our three adult children and their spouses for a wedding. The house had plenty of bedrooms and common areas for everyone to gather. The kitchen was well stocked and the pool area was relaxing. The house was centrally located for all of our weekend activities. I would definitely recommend this property for couples or families.

Family Holiday July 2024

This is our second three week week stay at Santiago Villa and if it wasn’t for Covid it would have been more. We said in our first post (Aug 2019) that ‘Your accommodation plays a significant role in the quality of your holiday’ and this property does not disappoint in any way whatsoever. Since we last stayed Daniel has put a great deal of thought and investment into the property, the enhancements he has made perfectly complement the original villa both aesthetically and functionally, when you factor in the central location, ideal for whatever you want to do, be it sightseeing, walking, shopping or playing golf, we believe this is now one of the very best family villas in the Phoenix / Scottsdale area. The key for us in having a great family holiday is accommodation that not only provides the space were individuals can relax within their own environment but also has the ability to bring everyone together in group activities. Santiago Villa effortlessly ticks both these boxes, the extensive (and very relaxing) outside seating area, pool house and the excellent bedrooms with their very comfortable beds and large screen TVs cater for the former, while the good size well-appointed kitchen, first-rate swimming pool, hot tub, BBQ, 80+ inch lounge TV and professional quality pool table easily cater for the latter. Daniel is the consummate host, never intrusive but always there to help address any problem. We will most certainly be returning in 2025.

Everything you need!!

The most amazing rental experience and house to fit our needs. The layout of the house and backyard was perfect. We had 2 families of 4, so the 2 masters were perfect for the adults and the boys and girls split the two bedrooms. The outside areas were beautiful we felt like we were staying at our own little resort. Even though it was in the main road and in the neighborhood, when you were there you felt totally secluded. The pool was perfect with the lights and bball hoop, and way more than enough pool floaters for everyone!! The best experience that our whole family will remember forever!!

Perfect house for a group

Amazing open spaces for a group of 8 to relax and entertain. The pool was clean and had plenty of pool toys and floats to enjoy. One of the most stocked houses I have ever rented with kitchen supplies, grilling tools, serving platters, vases, etc. Great location near Kierland Commons where we ate and shopped. Closed to some good courses as well. Owner very responsive. House perfectly cleaned. Just a fantastic experience.

The separate Pool House can be used as a bar/hangout space during the day, or become a separate, private suite by night! You never feel like you're in anyones way.
