Such a wonderful area! The home is a wonderfully restored Italian walk up with the quiet privacy you’ll enjoy but only a few minutes walk to bars, restaurants, and tourist areas.

Great stay!

Group of 4 women for a long weekend. House exactly like the pics, the loft bedroom does look out over one of the other bedrooms and almost one of the other so probably not great for several couples. Other than that we had a great stay, everything was provided, clean and tidy. Big perk was being met by someone at a nearby pre arranged meeting point as we arrived into Venice quite late (10:45pm) and they showed us to the house etc. Quiet area, nearby places to eat, overall a great stay!

Great location - beautiful property

We had a family group of nine people ranging from three years to 72. Everyone was comfortable in the rooms. The beds are very comfortable with beautiful linens. The location is in a quiet neighborhood which was great after a day of sightseeing. But close enough to walk to everything within 10-15 minutes. We would definitely stay again.

For someone older or has mobility issues they may find the stairs difficult to maneuver. Otherwise place was clean and the location we loved as it was easy to get around and only 8 minutes from the train station.

Nice apartment, very close ( easy walk) to the train Station. Small leaving room, 1 good size double room and 1 very small room- I wouldn’t say double room- both private, 2 good size double room with open attic in btw. attic is not a good option to sleep, I would not recommend count on that. Had a great stay!

Lovely

Giovanna was very responsive and understanding. Our check in process went smoothly even though my party was 1.5 hours late after the agreed time due to travel delays! The property is a sweet blend of modern conveniences and old world charm. There is a view of the canal from one of the bedrooms and a church tower in another. My party of 10 were comfortable here. We were able to spread out in the spacious bedrooms. Although a bit far from the major sites, it is less than a 10 minute walk to the train station. Its close to vaporetto stops with restaurants right around the corner.

Venice Hideaway

One word describes this apartment - exceptional! It is tucked away on a residential area free of the crowds of tourists descending on Venice at this time. After a short walk from the train station, we were met just before the Three Arches Bridge and escorted to the apartment. As a host, Giovanna was quick to to address any concerns. She even arranged for a very early morning water taxi to the airport - we were picked up at 5:00AM less than a two minute walk from the apartment. The apartment is very spacious - three large bedrooms plus a fourth one with a lot of character. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and will most definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay here

The apartment is in a quiet neighborhood. The host was wonderful. We enjoyed talking with Mercedes, the lady who checked us in. They provided some snacks and drinks for our group. It's very kind. Some things to keep in mind when staying here: - there are 5 rooms, but 3 of them are not private. The loft is open to two bedrooms. It's not too bad, but it's something to keep in mind if you plan to put couples in those rooms. - one of the rooms doesn't have air conditioning. - one of the bathrooms doesn't have a lock. - it's a good 30 mins walk to St Mark's Square, but 8 from the Sta Lucia train station.

Hot in Venice

The apartment was beautifully decorated and conveniently located to water taxi. However, the air conditioning was terrible!! Only 2 of 4 bedrooms had air conditioning and they would not cool below 23C. The living room air did not cool at all only the fan blew and no cool air came out. The had no floor fans to help either. It was sooo hot!! We were all miserable.

Just ok

Check in was not easy. The place was cold and the owner didn’t respond to the message about the heat. We finally figured out how to work the heater. One room is in the attics and has a ladder to go to the room. Another room has a very low ceiling so my friend hit his twice.

Comfortable

We were a group of 7 and had a lovely stay. It must be noted however that the loft room at the top of the house has large gaps either side of it and you can wave to the guests in the 2 rooms beneath it - so not private at all. We didn’t need this 5th room so it didn’t affect us. The occupants of the smaller 4th double room must walk through either of the bedrooms beneath the loft room to access their bedroom. We were all family so it didn’t affect us but I think it’s important to know this in case you are a group of friends.

Nice place, interesting layout

The place is pretty big by Venice standards. It's in a quiet neighborhood but just a few minute walk to the action. There is 1 nice size private bedroom on the first floor without air conditioning and 1 smaller private bedroom on the 2nd floor, also without a/c. The 2nd floor has 2 addtl rooms plus an attic that are open to each other. When all a/c are running in the bedrooms it brings down the temp to about 75°F. Not sure how well the a/c works on the main floor bec it was out of service during our stay (although Giovanna tried hard to make it work). The apartment is nicely furnished Venetian style. Kitchen/fridge is small but that wasn't a problem because we didn't cook anything. The water pressure is low but I guess that's the way it is in Venice. Overall nice place if they can improve the a/c.

Drei-Generationen-Urlaub

Es war rundum super in dieser Wohnung.Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und hochwertig, es fehlte an nichts. Die Lage ist genial: Nur wenige Gehminuten vom Trubel entfernt, kann man in der Wohnung komplett zur Ruhe kommen, denn sie liegt sehr ruhig. Vaporetti gleich vor der Tür. Jederzeit wieder. Einziges , kleines Mank: Der Wasserdruck im Bad ist sehr schwach….

Sehr zentral und doch sehr ruhig

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön. Wir waren mit 8 Personen. In der Beschreibung ist allerdings nicht dabei, dass die oberen Zimmer durch eine enge Treppe und das Zimmer ganz oben mit einer Leiter zu erreichen sind. Die Küche ist gut eingerichtet, auch mit Spülmaschine, allerdings gibt es nur zwei Herdplatten, Zum Kochen mit mehren Personen ist sie daher nicht geeignet. Auf Fragen wurde durch die Vermieterin sofort reagiert. Eine gute Gelegenheit einmal das Leben in Venedig besser kennenzulernen.
