Extra expenses (not included):
All Charter Expenses (e.g. fuel consumption, food & drink provisions, port / canal fees, etc.), estimated at 25% of initial charter fee to be provided as APA (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) • Crew gratuity if earned (optional as per MYBA tipping policy).

APA is calculated as a percentage of the charter fee (25%), which you then pay in addition, before the charter commences. The captain will use this allowance to stock the boat, and fuel up. Any left over money will be returned to the client, at the end of the charter. Whilst on board, the captain will be in charge of the APA and has to keep any receipts necessary, as record for you, the client. He/she should also keep you updated as the charter progresses, of how much is being spent, and anything else you need to be aware of.
