WiFi was great, very well located to everything in Bath. There are steep stairs if that’s an issue. Appliances modern washer works. Patio is nice.

Excellent location close to all the top Bath attractions and restaurants. Sabine is a wonderful host, answered all our queries promptly and sorted out our wifi issue immediately.

We 6 adults loved staying at Abbey Mews. It is on a quiet road at an easy location to walk to good restaurants and shops. The antiques and decor are lovely and gave us the Jane Austin feeling we wanted. Sabine was very accommodating and promptly responded. We enjoyed the kitchen set up and had lovely breakfasts at the large dining table and comfortable gatherings up in the living room. We would stay at this property again.

Excellent location with all required amenities. Plenty of space for our group of 6, functional kitchen, soft beds, one spacious bathroom, and a second functional bathroom. Very responsive host. Centrally located with close proximity to good Restaurent’s.

Comfortable spacious clean home with lovely garden terrace - fab location close station/shops/sites

Really enjoyable mums weekend away - super well-equipped house. Loved the little garden terrace for early evening drinks and breakfast. A couple of great takeaways on the doorstep (Nepalese and Thai)

A lovely old house with plenty of character. 4 x decent sized double rooms and great reception rooms. Decent kitchen with self catering facilities. Great location to access Bath (1 minute walk). Car parking close by too. Very friendly and helpful host too (regularly in touch before, during and after the stay)

Very disappointed. The property had a strong damp, musty smell and the windows had been painted shut. The only lounge had no TV. Outside was dirty, with broken furniture, filthy walls and a constant smell of curry. The bathroom window fell out when opened, both showers had mould, and one was broken. We were also charged extra for linen. Bath is beautiful, but we wouldn’t stay here again.

Perfect for family birthday and celebration in West Somerset

This was a central place for siblings from West Somerset to join in celebrating an 80th birthday. While the weather was climate-unfriendly not, the 4 couples completely enjoyed this easily navigated, centrally located, well decorated, and comfortable house made the day (and the other 4days) despite the dust from the proximate building site. The personal chef for the big day also commented on how agreeable the house was. Thank you.

Birthday in Bath

I had a party of 10 to stay over a weekend in Bath to celebrate my birthday . The house was beautiful and spacious . We all slept well - very comfortable beds .Our host had thought of everything . The kitchen had enough crockery and cutlery for all of us and condiments, coffee etc . The location was perfect for accessing the town centre and we could walk everywhere . Would definitely recommend it to a friend and am likely to book it again . Excellent value for money . Thank you ☺️

We were disappointed with our stay. On arrival, there was a very unpleasant damp and musty smell throughout the property. We later discovered that the front room windows had been painted shut, which likely contributed to the dampness. Although the front room was beautifully decorated in a traditional style, it was the only comfortable sitting room and, surprisingly, there was no TV hidden away anywhere.After long days of sightseeing, and as three of us have hidden disabilities, it would have been lovely to relax together and watch a film. The only TV was in the basement dining room, which wasn’t a comfortable place to sit and wasn’t a smart TV. The Wi-Fi was also very weak.The outside space was particularly disappointing. The garden furniture was broken, dirty and looked neglected, while the ground and surrounding walls were also filthy and clearly in need of attention. There was also a constant smell of curry outside, which made the space unpleasant to use.The bathrooms were also a major let-down. The bathroom window actually fell out when we tried to open it, there was mould and a persistent damp and musty smell, and both showers had visible mould. The downstairs shower fitting was also broken, so we had to prop it up while using it.We had hired the entire property, yet were still charged extra for linen, which felt unreasonable given the price we had already paid.Overall, this was not the experience we expected from such an expensive property.
