Comfortable and well-equipped beach holiday chalet, 2 minutes from a sandy beach and in the heart of the Pembrokeshire National Coast Path.. Ground Floor:

This cosy, well-equipped beach chalet, Sandpiper, is located in the popular Freshwater Bay Holiday Village, in Freshwater East, Pembrokeshire. It is 300 metres from the beach, 5 miles south of Pembroke, 10 miles west of Tenby and is in the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. It has been upgraded and decorated in 2023, and is in the ideal location to explore Pembrokeshireâs famous beaches, castles, coastal path, attractions and picturesque towns and villages. This clean and comfortable accommodation is perfect for families, a break with friends or a solo expedition. There is dedicated parking outside.
Freshwater East beach and the coast path are minutes away from your front door. Beaches and outdoor activities include sandy Freshwater East beach, backed by sand dunes and with rocky areas to explore. It rarely gets crowded and is good for paddling and bodyboarding. There is normally an ice-cream van in the car park on sunny days. The area around Freshwater is very popular with outdoor activities such as walking, climbing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, surfing and swimming. Freshwater West is a well-known surfing beach. Barafundle is also lovely. For walkers, the coastal path, east and west, starts pretty much at the front door. A car is desirable in this area to help you enjoy your stay, although there are buses that can connect walkers and cyclists.
If you want to order a shopping delivery for your arrival day, there are two supermarkets in nearby Pembroke Dock which deliver to the holiday village. There isnât an on-site shop, the supermarkets in Pembroke Dock are 15-20 minutesâ drive, and the nearest convenience store is the garage in Lamphey, approximately 2 miles away. Jacks at The Longhouse is an on-site pub and restaurant serving pub grub-style food though it might be worth booking a table during busy periods.
Sandpiper can be booked together with Sanderling (UK32837) to accommodate up to 8 guests.
