The villa is in a great location with good privacy & great views. It’s walking distance to restaurants & some shops.It’s very spacious with a large open plan living area. The bedrooms are big with plenty of storage & own bathrooms.There is good air conditioning & WiFi. It has 2 fridges/freezer & everything you need if you want to cook. Good outdoor area with plenty of seating. Decent pool but the tiles were slippy so need to be careful on the stairs as there is no rail.The owners didn’t meet us on first arrival so it would help if they provided an information pack about the villa such as how to use appliances & the local area. The air con has switches that need to be turned on before use which wasn’t obvious & one of the switches was located behind a tv so it took a while to figure it out. The locks on the patio doors are a weird design so difficult to open at first. There is no cleaner provided so you have to change bedding & towels yourselves.Our biggest disappointment was the lack of provisions provided in the event of a power cut. There are frequent power cuts across Cyprus which isn’t the fault of the owners but we had 5 power cuts in 2 weeks & all we had were some candles that weren’t sufficient. One cut lasted 13 hours so we had no lights or air con for the whole time & no running water at all. Some battery powered lights & small bottles of water next to the sinks would be a huge help. Better information about the situation could have made us better prepared too
