Nice flat near Camden Market

We had a nice 5 day trip to London. The flat was very clean and cozy. We travelled with two teens and used the sofa bed for me son and the small bed for my daugther. The location is great. We reached every tourist attraction within 30 minutes. Bus stop right outside the building with routes to Central London made travel easy.

Great location, property for a family

Small but efficient unit. Would be great for a family with smaller children, although we made it work with mine, which includes all grown chidren. To me, the best feature is the location. Two tube stops with 0.7 miles on lines that's run into Central London. Bus stop right outside the building with routes to Central London made travel a breeze. Hannah was a great host!

Disappointing

We rented the flat for 11 nights but moved after 2. The host asked me to be fair in my review so I'll do my best. The flat could have used a deep cleaning. There was dust and cobwebs, and dried food on the couch The worst part was black mold in the kitchen and bedroom. Having lived in a house with mold before, I know what a big job remediation can be. So we moved to a different flat after only 2 nights. I was really disappointed by how much the listing description was embellished. Shame on me for not reading between the lines better, though. They used words like "chic" and "quirky," which should have been red flags. Said in plain english, the place was a basement flat that was made to look larger and better than it was with a wide angle lens and some staging. It looked out on the dumpster and parking lot. They said there was "lush and well looked after gardens" behind the building. It was really a piece of fake grass carpet and some sickly potted plants on the asphalt car park. That pretty much tells you the difference between the online description and reality. The host Hannah was quick to respond to emails and sent someone over to replace burned out light bulbs very fast. She didn't like that we moved out without giving her the opportunity to fix things. I explained to her that in my opinion, the problems I had with the place could not be fixed easily and I didn't want to spend my vacation focusing on that. I didn’t ask her for my money back. I just moved out and told her I was disappointed.. She emailed again to say the guy who changed the bulbs told her there were 3 of us in the flat, not 2 as I said in my reservation, so I was in breach of contract. She also said that because I moved out without letting her try to fix things, "stereotypes must have formed [my] opinions" of her. For the record, the 3rd person they saw was my son who lives in London. The 1st night he slept on the couch b/c he hadn't seen us in 9 months . He didn’t stay with us again. As for her other accusation, I am the white mother of 2 biracial kids, so I don't understand her suggestion there was racism behind my not liking her flat. With a lot of money in her pocket for 9 nights I didn't stay in her flat, she felt the need to call me a liar and a racist. SMH. I think I will go back to staying in hotels and give up on VRBO. It’s just too unpredictable and inconsistent, not to mention expensive to pay double for lodging.

Kleines Appartement aber alles Nötige vorhanden

Das Appartement könnte sauberer sein, die Zufahrt zum Parkplatz ist sehr schmal, breitere Autos passen nicht durch die Durchfahrt. Fenster liegen nach hinten zum Parkplatz mit Blick auf die Mülltonnen. Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor der Tür.

Post pandemic trip to London

Small 2 bed flat in a great location, within walking distance to shops, tube station and buses. Advertised as suitable for up to 6 people, but I think this would be a tight squeeze, more likely suited to 4 adults or a small family. Kitchen adequate for size of property, but no instructions for appliances, particularly washing machine, which is not in the English language. Bathroom clean with very hot water and good shower. Free parking behind property, but very tight squeeze between the walls to access it if you have a family sized car. It would have been good to have been warned about this. Recommend oven gloves and a kitchen sink plug, as these were not provided. Overall nice comfortable property with great access to the city and to the north via M1.

Apartamento aceptable y bien situado

Es un apartamento con acceso directo a la calle, la puerta de entrada un poco estropeada. El interior es de tamaño muy reducido todo, en las fotos parece más grande, pero bueno como lo usamos solo para dormir, es suficiente. Está bien situado con un Bus en la puerta de casa, cada 5min que te lleva al centro.

This Jadawn Property Group apartment sits within a beautiful Victorian building. Bring your family and enter through the gates and the apartment which sits to the left of the building on the ground floor. It is delightfully quirky, with light flooding in through the windows in the bedrooms and lounge making it perfect for friends in town for an event. Our first bedroom to your left upon entering the lounge offers a single bed, as well as a guest bed which has a clever pull-out mechanism making it perfect for young children. The beautifully laid out bedroom to the right of the lounge offers you a choice of a king size bed or 2 large single beds sleep in after a hard day's work as a contractor, shopping or visiting.

The lounge features a beautiful chaise corner sofa sleeping a further 2 members of your party. Relax on the sofa to enjoy Netflix provided free for your courtesy by Jadawn Property Group, or to catch up with loved ones after a long day out using our free wifi.

Not to be left out is the great sized dining table where you and your family can enjoy your cooked or ordered-in meals. Our kitchen, just to your left as you walk in is equipped with the modcons you and your friends need to have a relaxing stay with us. Our bathroom at the end of the corridor, allows you a relaxing bath or shower after a busy day out.

You and your friends can also enjoy a sit down in lush and well looked after gardens behind this Jadawn Serviced Apartment.
