Just 3 miles along the road visit the Dalton Gin Distillery where you can enjoy Gin Tours and Tasting Experience. Ideally placed Repentance View is only a few miles from Annan and Lockerbie where you can enjoy some lovely meals in the various cafés and restaurants and the county town of Dumfries provides a wide range of shops as well as many interesting historical sites including Burns House, the home of the famous Scottish poet, Robert Burns.

Further afield, this area of south west Scotland has so much more to offer, from quiet sandy coves and cliff top walks, to castles like Caerlaverock and the majestic Drumlanrig Castle. Warmed by the Gulf Stream, the area has many beautiful gardens to visit, including Threave Gardens (National Trust) and Logan Botanic Gardens, Scotland’s most exotic garden.
