Luxury accommodations was not luxury.
The accommodations in the pictures looked perfect.
There was plenty of room 2 bathrooms, extra bedrooms large kitchen , dining room, living room and outdoor decks and pool.
It should have been the dream vacation. However, when we got there they did not know we were checking in and had to shuffle people out of our accommodation[ we were paid in full and luckily had all of our documentation to prove we had communicated that we were on our way and had paid. That was the beginning of the journey, Next we went to take a hot shower after a long 2 days of travel and there was no hot water, in the bathrooms or the kitchen. We heated water with a tea kettle.
We let our property manager know right away but unfortunately it never got fixed until the day before our departure. On the morning of our departure again there was no hot water.
It became immediately obvious that this accommodation which at one time would have been a luxury accommodation was no longer maintained. There were broken chairs on the roof patio, the living room couches had holes in the rattan, my blow-dryer smoked and stopped working, our air conditioner in our room did not work. There was a towel under the refrigerator to stop the leaking.
The place also could have used a good scrub. Although we did have housekeeping services - which changed linen the hard cleaning of cupboards, tile, kitchen fans etc was not attended to.
In addition the kitchen was short bowls, plates, etc.
No bathroom soap was provide either so our first night we had no hand soap.
In a luxury accommodation you come to expect cleanliness, hot water, and simple amenities .
We did let the property manager know all of this right away and had several friendly conversations about what was missing throughout our stay but nothing was ever fixed or resolved. Unfortunately as pleasant as our host was and she would listen to our concerns nothing ever got fixed, including the hot water.
