Accommodating twelve guests, this hideaway comprises of The Potting Shed, a peaceful and elegant detached property, plus a truly unique garden annexe, The Bothy. Situated in the charming village of Ringstead, the stunning sandy beaches at Old Hunstanton and Holme-next-the-Sea are just two miles away. Featuring an impressive vaulted ceiling with floor to ceiling glass bi-fold doors, the main property is great for entertaining.

Curated with beautiful interiors styled using a muted colour palette throughout, The Potting Shed and Bothy perfectly captures the essence of country living by the sea. With views across open countryside to the front and rear of the property, guests feel nestled into this relaxing environment. This exceptionally well appointed and unique property provides a tranquil escape for all the family to unwind together, whether for a short break to celebrate a special occasion, or for a longer stay.

On the ground floor, the feature of this home is the extraordinary open-plan kitchen / dining area. Full length bi-fold doors open out to the delightful mature gardens, inviting the outside in. The well-equipped kitchen provides the ideal stage for any enthusiastic chefs to cook up a feast from a plethora of the local ingredients the area is famed for. For meals out, the outstanding local village pub is just a short walk away. A cosy dual aspect sitting room offers ample seating appointed around an ornate fireplace with wood burning stove. With a Smart television also provided, this is the perfect spot to gather together to watch a film after a day of adventures in the big outdoors. With games and books also provided, there is plenty to keep guests amused. The fourth bedroom is located on this floor. With twin beds, this bedroom is served by an adjacent WC. Four further bedrooms are located on the first floor. Decorated in neutral hues with complimenting furnishings, and fine white linens dressing each bed, these rooms invite a pleasant sleep. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with stunning views to the front. This bedroom is served by an en-suite shower room. Bedrooms two and three have king-size beds, with bedroom two served by a en-suite bathroom. Bunk beds for two children feature in the fifth bedroom, with this room sharing a good sized family bathroom with bedroom three.

Situated in the garden, The Bothy is a funky annexe that accommodates a further two guests. Beautifully styled fusing rustic and romantic accents, exposed oak beams combined with soft sheepskin rugs. With a double bed, this annexe is ideal for privacy from the group for a couple or two older children. On chillier evenings, snuggle up in front of the bioethanol freestanding living flame fire. A well-equipped kitchen and an impressive wet room with monsoon shower complete this unique accommodation.

Outside, the mature garden includes a generous terrace offering garden furniture for al fresco dining, to a spectacular backdrop of panoramic countryside views. Catch a few rays and enjoy the views from the hammock outside The Bothy. As a fully enclosed space, this area is safe for children and dogs. Parking for up to four cars is available to the front of the property.

The village of Ringstead boasts an outstanding village pub, The Gin Trap Inn, which offers an artistic culinary experience, and stocks no less than 100 gins. The wonderfully quirky village shop stocks all the essentials. Nearby great walks include Peddars Way and Ringstead Downs. Bring your bicycles to pedal the two miles to the beach. Ringstead is ideally located to reach all the exciting attractions that North Norfolk has to offer.

The Potting Shed is available to book as a sleeps ten option without The Bothy, listed as The Potting Shed.
The Bothy annexe in the garden can also be booked separately for two, listed as The Bothy.

Big Family Weekend

Great spot for a family get together. Beach only a few miles away and local services we’ll within reach. The addition of the Bothy made it possible to have all the guests we wanted stay over with us. We were blessed with incredible weather all weekend and the facilities at the Potting Shed meant we were able to enjoy our time both inside and outside. Thanks to an amazing kitchen-diner we catered for twelve very easily. Left with a little bit of kitchen envy and memories of a fantastic weekend. Cheers.

Lovely Oct half term break

Our party of 8 + 1 dog had a lovely stay over the half term holidays. The property is very well appointed and homely. Loved the open plan kitchen space and managed to make good use of the garden. Teenagers were able to back and forth between the main house and the Bothy which made a great space for them during the day. Really enjoyed the feel of the house - with all the lovely touches (eg candles, diffusers, books, games) it felt like a home. For us the sitting room was slightly small for all of our party to enjoy - fine with either just adults or just kids but was a squeeze with all 8 in the space. Would definitely recommend - it's a great location, walkable distance to pub, local shop, playground and very good for Peddlar's way walks. Would love to get back there soon!

Very spacious open-plan kitchen/dining room with windows to the rear and side and french doors and bi-fold doors out onto the terrace and garden. A large range of base and wall units with sit-up bar with four bar stools. The kitchen is well-equipped and comes with an induction hob, extractor fan, two electric ovens, fridge/ freezer and dishwasher, The dining area has a vaulted ceiling with two Velux windows, a table seating 8-10 guests, dresser and armchair. Under stairs storage cupboard. Door leading to utility room.

Perfect for storing boots and coats, washing machine/ tumble dryer, window to the rear, back door to garden.

Outside:

The rear garden is fully enclosed, mainly laid to lawn and includes a wrap-around terrace with garden furniture including a table and chairs, a gas barbecue and deckchairs.
The Bothy annexes sits at the far end of the garden and is easy to access from the main house but equally offers lots of privacy.
The front of the house in approached via a five-bar gate and shingle driveway where there is plenty of off-road parking for three to four cars. Additional parking is possible on the road outside being that the road is not busy.

The Bothy annexe - Accommodates a maximum of two adults

With a vaulted ceiling, oak beams, wooden floors, a 4ft 6' double bed with bedside tables and lights, large sofa, coffee table, bioethanol free-standing fire with living flame (children should not be left unsupervised when the fire is lit), occasional tables and a dining table with four chairs.
