I'm sorry to hear that the apartment was noisy at night. This is not something any other guest has mentioned and the main bedroom is at the back of the apartment well away from the street and you are also on the second floor.

We clearly state that the second bed is a double and not a king or super king. The washer/dryer was checked by an engineer on your departure and was working normally as it was before and after your visit. We think that the problem was that it may have been overloaded - UK machines don't take as big a load as North American ones! On the subject of the hot water there is a "Boost" function to supply additional hot water if needed and this is explained in the house notes. The Boost function was working on your departure.
