Wonderful accommodation in a very lovely setting.

The off site 'Stables' was extremely modern and very spacious. Freindly staff and very helpful. Breakfast was very generous portion wise and the food was excellent.

Comfortable and clean

Great village Inn with rooms. We stayed in the annex this time ( just across the road ). The facilities were great. The bar and dining room in the Inn has a great vibe. My favourite place to stay in Barnard Castle.

An extremely positive and thoroughly enjoyable stay.

From checking in to checking out the staff could not have been more cheerful and helpful. Everyone we came across was enthusiastic and couldn’t do enough to help. Accommodation was great and the breakfast was excellent. The beer in the pub was perfect and the live band were brilliant too.

Third stay at The Three Horseshoes

Stayed for a 3 night break and as usual couldn't fault anything. Said it before but this is the only place to stay in Barney, best accomodation, best food and best pub.

Nice stay in the heard of Barnard Castle!

Enjoyed our stay (we stayed in 'the stables' room) and would recommend, room was clean although some lights were not working and while the room had a very small heater which was needed as the radiant heat was not working or rather turned off and we could not turn on.

Relaxing reak

A return to Barnard Castle, long awaited and met our expectations though the High had lost some of its past lustre , no different from elsewhere. Overall a lovely town, characterful buildings abound.vVery

Exceeded expectations

Short break visiting family and local sites. We were not sure what to expect as booked off site accommodation on internet. We were not disappointed it is a gem of a place. We ate in hotel far more than we had planned as it was so nice. Would definitely recommend this place and will be returning.
