This was a return visit and was just as great as the last trip we took.

The cottage had everything we needed, including for a toddler, the location is beautiful and peaceful with views of the surrounding area and animals. Rachel is a great host and we felt completely relaxed and at home.

A very enjoyable two week break staying at Church House Farm

The cottage was immaculately clean, well equipped, comfortable, with exceptional views to the rear as was the beautiful and well maintained gardens.It was always a pleasure to sit, take coffee and enjoy the surrounding views. Abundant walks. A perfect, peaceful setting to relax, recharge with a short drive to pubs, shops and coastline. The area and accommodation exceeded our expectations. Would highly recommend, a delightful break. The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

Great location, great accommodation

Perhaps a little out of things for some, we found this quiet location to be perfect for our 5 day stay. There seem to be more cows than people in this valley, but there are very good valley and moorland walks and pubs to be found, plus the coast is only a short drive away. The excellent Moors National Park Centre is also close by. An excellent base from which we visited many places across the NP. We especially enjoyed the coastal walks and locations.

Lovely stay in a beautiful part of the world

We spent a wonderful week in Bluebell Cottage at Church House Farm. I've been to the local area for the last 40 years, but this is the first time here. The accommodation is lovely, clean, bright very comfortable. We spent the week walking, cycling and enjoying the quiet and scenery of this part of the world.

Great base for exploring North York Moors

Comfortable and clean lodgings for one week while we visited family in Ainthorpe. Stocked up on breakfast foods at Co-op in Castleton and ate other meals out or with Grandma. Lots of day trips (Redcar to Scarborough, Danby to Pickering).

Wonderful accommodation in a great location

We loved our stay in Bluebell Cottage. Clean, spacious and really well equipped. Perfect accommodation. Great view of the North Yorkshire Moors and a nice garden to sit and take in the lovely view. We were rambling on our all-terrain scooters with Disabled Ramblers on the North York Moors.

We had a lovely week rambling on our all-terrain scooters on the North York Moors and knowing that we were going back to our lovely little cottage at Church House Farm made all the difference after a long and tiring day. A lovely location and would definitely go there again.

All the comforts of home in a stunning location.

It felt like a very comfortable well furnished home, with absolutely everything we needed. It is in a beautiful and quiet location, with dark starry nights, and moors hiking right outside the door. Very thoughtful and helpful hosts. We slept very well and wished we could stay longer. Perfect.

Such a peaceful relaxing place. Hosts Rachel & Rory are lovely, and v kind - they catered for my allergies, and sorted out secure storage for my bike when I wasn't using it (take a bike, it's a fabulous area for cycling - on and off road)

Great Mini Break

Lovely cottage surrounded by beautiful countryside

Went on lots of walks in the areas such as Glaisdale, Goathland, Danby itself. Not far from coastal areas and other Yorkshire towns. Despite the bad weather forecast we had great weather. Advice: don't always listen to the forecast!

A lovely weekend stay at Bluebell Cottage.

We stayed at Bluebell Cottage whilst attending a wedding at St Hilda’s church and Danby Castle. The cottage was very well equipped and maintained. Rachel and Rory are amazing host's, the cottages are immaculate and spotlessly clean

A beautiful place to stay in breathtaking surroundings in the North Yorkshire moors.Its an amazing place to unwind and relax, the only sounds you hear are cow's and sheep. No light pollution gives you a fantastic night sky when clear. You are most certainly guaranteed a good night's rest with all the fresh air. Everything is catered for, you want for nothing in the cottages other than food and drink. We've been several times to Church House and each time gets better. We'll worth a visit
