The house is located on the northern face of the hill where the town nestles. In this setting, both urban and rural, among its neighbours are goats, chickens, donkeys and horses.

The house lies on the edge of the Parque de los Alcornocales (The Park of Cork Trees), 20 minutes by car from the ascent of Picacho, one of the highest peaks of the Alcornocales mountains, and five 5 minutes by car from the Pantano de Barbate, a spot for kayaking surrounded by cork trees, wild olives, pines and eucalyptus. In the area around there are many trails to explore by bicycle, on foot or on horseback. The house is also 40 minutes from some of Cadiz’s best beaches, such as Conil, Caños de Meca, Barbate and La Barrosa.

All this makes Alcalá de los Gazules an unbeatable place to spend a holiday, enjoying sports and outdoor activities, observing nature among the innumerable birds which nest and bring up their chicks there, or simply resting and taking it easy.
