Do you want to stay by the sea? Here is your answer:

Just 10 minutes from the busy city centre on a peaceful village road, and only a short walk from the bus stop, Apartment Marija sits on a quiet and relaxing seafront overlooking the beautifully tranquil Zaton Bay. This is a studio apartment with bed size 160x 200 cm, kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor. There is electric stove, fridge, filter coffee machine and kettle in the kitchen. There is no oven, microwave and washing machine in the unit. There is air conditioning. Bed linens and bathroom towels are provided, beach towels are not provided. In front of the apartment is a dining table which belongs to this apartment on shared terrace. Terrace and waterfront with sunbeds is shared among guests staying in House Tereza Private parking is next to the house.

Swimming is LITERALLY on your doorstep, without even having to cross a road, and without encountering a long, hot climb up the cliffs, which is more usual around the Dubrovnik area. We are offering private waterfront with sunbeds & umbrellas included. Waterfront and ground floor terrace are shared with other guests staying in House Tereza.

There are several restaurant and two well equipped mini-markets near the bus stop, and several other good restaurants a gentle stroll away, within easy walking distance around the bay. But you may not want to dine out once you have enjoyed your covered terrace to dine al fresco, overlooking the sea. Sunbathe on the sun terrace with your sun bed & umbrella. Or, if you are feeling more energetic we have paddle board for hire, and boat trips to the Islands.

Beautiful, relaxing week!

The hosts were so accommodating and welcoming and made sure we knew everything we needed about the town, bus schedule, and other activities in the area. The place was super clean and had a lovely view of the bay. We ate dinner on the patio every night for a week! Such a lovely place! I definitely recommend this place to others!

Excellent stay

We had a terrific stay here, the property was excellent, truly loved being so close to the bay, and enjoyed many a lovely swim. Owners were always available and very helpful and pleasant. public transport just a walk away , and Pacso always available for a transport service. Lovely restaurants within easy walking distance, a truly memorable place to stay, Can highly recommend, a big thank you to all for such a great holiday....We certainly hope to return..

House Teresa Zaton

Thank you Luko, Maria and family for making our stay so enjoyable, nothing was too much trouble. House Theresa is an absolute gem. Very clean and comfortable, and the most perfect location, being able to dive straight from the sunbeds into the bay. During our stay we took an excellent boat trip and visited 3 of the islands close by, but Zaton Bay was the most beautiful and quiet bay and the best by far. Perfect for rest and relaxation. We hope to return in the near future.

Simply the BEST

House Tereza was everything and more. It was our first visit to Croatia and had no clue what to expect. As two very busy and stressed-out friends (teacher and nurse) we wanted to stay close to Dubrovnik city but far enough away that we were able to relax. House Tereza was the perfect place. We spent our first 3 nights in the attic apartment. No balcony but it wasn't an issue for us. The apartment was very large and airy with two windows that opened to a fabulous view over the bay. The A/C worked well and was very quiet. The property was extremely clean and well maintained. Stores and restaurants on the bay are within walking distance. We rented a car and drove up the Dalmation Riviera and visited Hvar and Makarska which was beautiful but we were pining to be back at House Teresa in Zaton Bay. We called Luko in the hopes he had an availability. We were overjoyed that we were able to head back to our little piece of heaven. We spent a further 2 nights in the ground floor apartment which was a lot smaller than the attic apartment but opened up directly on to the terrace. Luko's beautiful daughter, Anita, was more than helpful with any questions we had. I believe there are 6 apartments within this property and we especially enjoyed making new friendships with the family and other visitors. When I return to House Tereza, which I will for sure, I would be more than happy to spend the whole vacation here. I miss you Zaton Bay :)

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation

Just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay at House Tereza and could easily have stayed longer. Nothing was too much trouble for Luko, Tereza, Anita and all the family. Ask them anything and they will have the answer and they are genuinely pleased to help guests have a lovely time. We stayed in the apartment with a separate kitchen on the first floor which worked well for us. We enjoyed the beautiful view from our balcony - watching the way the light on the bay changed throughout the day and night so much that sometimes we stayed up far too late enjoying it! We visited Cavtat by bus which was really easy to do and a lovely place to visit for lunch or evening meal. We had hoped to catch the boat to Dubrovnik from Cavtat as they run very regularly but they weren't running because of the weather conditions so we carried on to Dubrovnik by bus. We did, however, manage a little boat trip from House Tereza to Zaton Veliki which was very nice and gave us the opportunity to take some lovely photos of the bay. We also visited Dubrovnik by bus and returned by taxi on 3 occasions and don't feel we have touched the surface of this beautiful city with its old town. Zaton Mali is stunning and relaxing on the bathing platform or sitting on the terrace by the water's edge is a wonderful way to spend the day just reading or chatting with other guests. We are very much hoping to return next year and stay at House Tereza as we could not recommend House Tereza highly enough and have already done so to family and friends. Thank you. Just back from a fantastic week at House Tereza. We had a wonderful relaxing and very comfortable stay in Apartment Anita. One of the many highlights was eating breakfast or lunch on the balcony with the amazing view over the bay. Luko and Tereza were extremely friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Zaton is very peaceful and relatively unspoilt with several restaurants and a mini market within a ten minute walk. In short we loved it and can't wait to go back!

A Peace of Croatia!

The setting cannot be bettered as it sits on the seashore literally only a few short steps across a small quayside to the sea. You can dive in from the front of the house! The bay is still relatively unspoilt and offers a glimpse of a more tranquil and traditional time and,although facilities are limited by Mediterranean standards, there are enough restaurants to provide a choice although Croation cuisine in general is not up to general European standards yet. The shortfalls, however, are more than made up for by the hospitality and welcome of Luko and Teresa who ensure that the holiday can be enjoyed without having to worry about anything. The accommodation is clean, well equipped and roomy and the beds are restful and well laundered. Luko provides pickups and deliveries to and from the airport for an extra charge and there are regular buses into Dubrovnik sfrom where both land and sea excursions can be made so a car is not necessary. However, if you prefer to travel independently or further afield a car is advised but parking fees need to be factored in as this part of Croatia does not have graduated fees i.e you pay the same for 1 hour or all day and if you mhave a car for the entire holidfay as we did you can end up paying an extra £70 Altogether, though, this was a very relaxing and hospitable holiday and I would recommend House Teresa to anyone in search of genuine peace and tranquillity.

Our holiday was a short time spent in Paradise!

House Tereza was an experience in tranquility and happiness surrounded by a beautiful view, friendly people, considerate and caring hosts. Our accommodation was very comfortable and clean and above expectations - to have breakfast on the terrace outside our room with the opportunity to chat to others from all over the world - or sit in peace and quiet was exceptional. Whether taking a dip in the crystal clear calm sea adjacent to the sun terrace or taking a boat trip with Luko round the beautiful Croatian coast, followed by a superb fish meal in the local restaurants our holiday could not have been better. Added to this a visit to Dubrovnik is a must just to explore the museums, squares, little markets, climbing the hundreds of steps to walk round the wall of the city then relax and watch the world go by in one of the numerous little bars, bistros, or restaurants - heaven. We visited for the first time in June and we came back in September bringing friends who were equally impressed - yes we would definitely recommend House Tereza but Sshhh we don't want to spoil it! Thank you Luko and Tereza for sharing your house with us. We will be back...........

Happiest holidays

We have stayed for 8days in August. 1.Apartment Marija is located in the first floor,then we could bring our dishes from the kitchen to the table through the window.It was very convenient for us. 2.We could connect to the wireless LAN.It was very convenient, too. We could use it not only in the room, but also at the balcony in front of the sea. 3.We could go to the mini-marcket on foot. It took just 10minutes. Very convenient. 4.There were some mosquitos.We burnt mosquito repellent. We should prepare some items to avoid mosquitos. Luko is very friendly.We had a special holidays thanks to him. We want to visit and meet him again!
