Tucked away Cosy retreat within the National Park in the hamlet of North Gorley

'Little Glen Brook' is a new conversion, separate from the main house, with its own entrance, large outdoor patio area and a log burning stove ( one basket of wood provided ) in the open plan living area.
The living area includes a washing machine , (liquid detergents only) fridge (with top freezer) and electric 2 ring Hob and small oven/ grill .
Microwave and a toaster and a slow cooker for guests to self cater.
Internet is complimentary , and can be intermittent.
However all mobile phones work along with 3G 4G mobile phone with own data allowance .
Dogs are welcome and a ÂŁ25 charge per dog maximum 3 per stay . ( please bring their beds/blankets and bowls )

A new year break

We had a lovely stay in the New Forest. Very peaceful surroundings, a perfect little cottage for us to stay in with our beagle. It was completely enclosed which was great. The amenities were as required for a short stay. The Royal Oak pub was very cosy and food delicious. Linley was a great host also.

Modern, exceptionally clean, well equipped. A few points to note

Overall we were very satisfied with our short stay. The location has all you need for a comfortable stay. There were a few points to note:1. The living room and kitchen would benefit from simple pull down blinds because at night. the open windows feel slightly spooky even though close vegetation blocks the inwards view.2. The December temperature was rather chilly and on the first night we could not get any heat into the bedroom. It seemed to somewhat correct itself on the second night. The bathroom radiator was fine and the living room was managed with a single portable electric fire. Something more permanent and substantial would be better.3. At night my wife accidentally fell into the unlit cattle grid which guards the main gates and hurt her leg. The sensor for the lamp, which does actually illuminate the entrance area, should be better positioned to detect pedestrians.We enjoyed our stay and found the property to be beautifully decorated and clean. It is also roomy and very well equipped with all you could reasonably expect.We hope to stay here again.

A couple of nights break

An amazing find, host was lovely and property was gorgeous everything you could want for a short stay. Bonus that the pub selling gorgeous food was a very short walk away. Central for walks within the new forest and surround area. An amazing find and we will be back!

Fabulous New Forest break

Gorgeous property with everything you need, the perfect place for ‘betwixtmas’ stay. Host Linley was charming & so helpful with all the advice, especially dog-related tips for our young cocker spaniel who absolutely loved it, especially nearby Highcliffe beach, a wonderful recommendation from Linley. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We had a beautiful stay Lindley was a good hoist nothing was to much trouble I would recommend the place lots to do and the property was beautiful it was private for my little dog. All in all we will be going back.

Perfect coupes retreat

This little cottage was perfect for a short quiet break. It had everything we needed & in an ideal location if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The moment we arrived we were greeted by the local wildlife, New Forest ponies right outside the property. Our overall impression of the property was that it was a very good standard, compact but spacious enough for two & 3 large dogs. We welcomed the enclosed garden & off road parking. The host contacted us to check everything was ok which we appreciated. We would recommend Little Glen Brook to friends and family and would stay there again.

I’ve lived in the forest for 12 years and have been in the hospitality industry for many years. I have spent recent years updating my own property here and recently Little GlenBrook I hope I have created a lovely holiday let for friends and guests to enjoy and revisit.

Tucked away within the grounds of 'Glen Brook', 'Little Glen Brook' is a cosy retreat within the New Forest National Park in the hamlet of North Gorley where horses, cattle and donkeys are frequent visitors. With the open forest just beyond the gates and a village pub less than a 3 minute walk away, this is an ideal location to explore all the New Forest has to offer.
A car is essential. A bus stop, 15 minutes walk away, provides public transportation hourly to Bournemouth, Ringwood, Fordingbridge and Salisbury. The forest can also be explored by bike.
