I would have loved to love this place but...
The house looks great, well maintained and equipped, and very clean. Everything to make it a perfect stay. However, there has been 3 major downsides that made this stay very complicated.
The first one relates to the wifi: don't count on it. It's at its lowest, and has downtimes for sometimes as long as half a day, and you only get it near the couch. I asked in advance if the wifi was reliable and was told that I could count of it, the reality ended up being very different. It turned out so bad that I had to known on neighbour's doors and found after my 5th attempt someone willing to share their password.
Second, and there is not much they can do about it is the phone signal. There is no signal in the house or outside and the only signal available is the Albanian one from across the sea (coming with crazy overcharges so please disconnect your phone before getting there. It took less than 3 minutes for us to have our phone accounts stuck, just the time to understand what was happening.)
Last but not least is the housekeeper. She shows up at random times, early Mornings to late evenings, and enters from another hidden door. So you can change in your bedroom and see her right in front of your window, or swim and figure out that she's also on the terrace. That is quite unprofessional, and also very annoying since she isn't cleaning but just watering the plants. It went up to a moment when my friend in the bathroom and she wanted to 'teach' us how to throw the paper in the bins and not in the restrooms, and she ended up opening the door while my friend was there... Some privacy would have been appreciated and I would have appreciated if she warned us before coming, and knocked on the front door before entering. That seems to be very invasive, and pretty much useless if it's just to water the plants everyday.
All in all, I'm really sad to have experienced this because the rest was great and the house is really great!
