Original 9th century arrow slit windows and meter thick stone walls. Unique features: original glass ovens built by the Venetian glass masters in 1292 in the living and dining room. Two very big king bedrooms, two baths ensuite, sleeps 4+2 on sofa. One bedroom is in base of the 9th century tower! King beds become twins. Original medieval spiral staircase up to the floor above; can be joined with il Nido to sleep additional 2. 9th century barrel vault stone ceilings and plaster walls of 'velatura' peach.
