It was a lovely, quiet retreat. Perfectly suited to what was needed and looking for. The hot tub had been heated for arrival, but in the heatwave, it was not needed to be re-heated. A lovely and calm cottage, just what was needed. Thank you.

The property was immaculate throughout, well maintained and well described. We had slight issues with the log burner on the second night which was a pity, possibly down to user operation, Laurain did attend to immediately when we called her, but unfortunately we couldn’t maintain the burner fully lit which resulted in the jacuzzi not reaching the temperature we wanted, so if you experience the same issue be sure to let Laurain know as she will help. Overall great stay.

Perfect little gem

This little cottage is incredible! Absolutely beautiful setting, well decorated, immaculate condition and has everything you need at hand. The hot tub was perfect! The surprise addition of the homemade bread, butter, milk and eggs was much appreciated. We cannot wait to return

Short break

Laurain was lovely, the cottage clean and neat, perfect. Thank you also to Laurain for leaving us bread, milk, butter , eggs, bacon and cup cakes for our arrival. And the locally sourced cleaning products and toiletries were a treat too, I have taken a brochure so that I can order some for home.

What an amazing stay

From start to finish stress free break, thank you Laurain Jo and myself had an amazing break at your cottages and will be booking again. You and Mick have set these cottages out with attention to detail and as a guest could ask for nothing more, great for kids as well with your lovely animals on site, Jo especially loved Bella the pig! If anyone reads my review this is a lovely place to stay in what I would call boutique style cottages. 5star in my book and thank you for the fresh bacon and eggs and lovely carrot cake upon our arrival a very nice touch.
