Refurbished old house with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and optional guest house (+4) (See reference HAUK 8096548 if you are interested in renting the whole finca)
This is a stunning and unusual property as it's a combination of a number of different parts; the main refurbished house made from reclaimed materials and antique finds, the adjoining old converted barn housing one of 2 lovely master suites, and then further away from the main house there is a self contained casita with king sized sofa bed and 3 bunk beds for that extra family to visit or stay.
This property is the result of 4 years hard work on restoring and improving various old buildings that were on the 15,000 m2 (3 acre) plot. In the main house there are 2 master rooms both with fantastic super king sized beds - one in the thatched barn with en suite and another in the main building (also with en suite) and stunning views of Vejer. There's a large bunk bed room with 4 beds that are also built for adults (90cm x 200cm long mattress size) and then a separate twin bed room which can also be adjoined to make up another super king if required. There's a large family bathroom as well with twin sinks, large tadelakt bath with shower and then a huge open plan living area with modern marble kitchen, dining area and lounge section with open fire place and stunning views.
The plot sits on a very quiet back road with very few passing cars - more likely to find a horse or dog walker taking a stroll or the local farmer moving his cows. The whole of the plot also benefits from fantastic views of the countryside and gazes up at the old town of Vejer which can be seen from many angles and windows, including one of the master bedrooms.
This is designed as a family friendly rental as the owners have young children themselves and will leave a variety of toys and games for young kids to play with. There is also a rescued old fishing boat on the plot for anyone to play in as well as a set of swings, a small rustic football pitch, ping pong table, and more things to come in time.
The main house (including the barn) will very comfortably accommodate 8-10 (10 if the 4 bunk beds are all full) and the large open plan living space has a huge dining table for up to 14 people and large new kitchen with 2 ovens, 2 dishwashers, large gas hob, microwave and all the usual mod cons you would expect to find in a luxury rental. There's a new washer/dryer and large fridge and separate freezer to cater for family living in the countryside.
The casita is 50 metres from the main house and can be rented separately or together with the main house. This is also newly refurbished with reclaimed materials and contains an open plan kitchen / living / dining area with oven, microwave and dishwasher. We also give customers the option to block the rental of the casita for a small fee if they don't need the extra rooms but wish to have the plot and facilities just to themselves though there's lots of room and privacy between the two.
The house is very close to the Montenmedio golf and equestrian centre so an ideal place to stay for anyone visiting the sunshine tour events or wanting close proximity to the country club for golf or events there.
As the pictures probably show, the house is recently completed and works do continue on the grounds at present with more trees and plants being added all the time - we'll try and update the photos regularly to show the continual progress. The salt water swimming pool is now complete in stunning marble and surrounded by loungers and a huge big Bali style day bed.
