Great family vacation!

Perfect for our family of 4, everything we needed on the beach and at the pools. Great dining options close by and many things to keep our teens entertained. The condo is beautiful with a perfect view of the ocean!

Excellent condo!

I didn’t get to leave a review in the guest book and I apologize because this place is exactly as listed! Loved staying here, great location and easy to access. The owners were very easy to get ahold of if needed and very friendly. You do have to reserve and pay for beach chairs through a service before you get there but the owners have a storage closet fully packed with everything you could need to not reserve chairs. You do have to set up behind the rows of chairs but they luckily space them out so you can see the water just fine. Definitely recommend staying here!

Great condo with a view

Condo was comfortable and well stocked with everything you need including beach towels, chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, etc. Great central location in Destin. The Cafe in the building has fantastic food too! Washer/dryer was nice to have.

Perfect getaway destination

Everything was exactly as described. Beds were comfortable. Hosts provided little extras that made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable (fan for bedroom, power strips, beach towels and chairs). View of the beach and ocean were amazing through the floor to ceiling windows. Would definitely recommend this property!

A special vacation

The condo and the view was spectacular! This was a special vacation for us because our 3 children got to find out what their newest sibling was going to be. The pools were great and the beach beautiful! The room was clean, tidy, and had a lot of home comforts! We will be back!

Don’t stay at PELICAN BEACH RESORT

One of the toilets didn’t work, there was sand and trash in the floor when we arrived, the beach chair service owns the beach and they tell you where to put chairs. They would not let you sit in the first 20 feet from high tide line because it would block the 5 rows of beach chairs view. Don’t stay at this resort!

Great condo for family

During the pandemic my family has missed four vacations.... my children have been too afraid of hanging out in a space that wasn’t ours :(. This condo was so amazing!! Everything was actually as described online. We had a wonderful experience and it felt like home :) we loved our stay so much that after the first night of six we booked and paid for another seven days in August. We loved our time in your condo! Thank you for allowing us to see the beach again :)

Perfect Family Beach Vacation

This location couldn’t have been more perfect for our family of four. We had quick access to the beach so we could set up the chairs and umbrella that were supplied in the balcony closet. Our boys loved moving from the beach to the pool below our balcony on the hot afternoons because the condo shaded it. Ordering groceries from Publix and to our surprise they delivered directly to our room making it so convenient. The cafe on site had amazing food for a quick bite for breakfast or lunch. We ended each day with a special tiki drink and our boys loved the frozen kid friendly ones! Our snorkeling excursion from the Harbor Village was an easy $8 Uber ride away. Just perfect and we can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful condo, beautiful location

Our family had such a wonderful time in this condo. It is so beautifully decorated and well stocked with everything that we could possibly need. I enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watching the sun come up and the waves with my coffee in the morning. Loved having the 2 bathrooms so that the kids could have their own space and so could my husband and I. The beach is sugary white sand and we would spend most of our day in the water or hanging out on the beach. The waves were just right for body surfing and to just bob around in. Owners left a list of some wonderful restaurants. Our girls especially loved "The Cone" which is an ice cream shop very close to the condo. We "may" have been there quite a few times during our stay. We will definitely be back to visit this great vacation condo!

Great Stay

The condo was as advertised, the balcony was large and had a great view of the ocean, and all the beds were very comfortable! Beach towels were provided which was awesome and it was great having laundry in the unit. The only downfall was the resort puts up 5 rows of umbrellas and chairs for rent on the beach and when we went to reserve them on our first day only the back row was available. If you are considering staying I would strongly suggest that you use the website ldvbeach.com to rent an umbrella and chairs a week or more before arriving as I assume that is what many others did to get rows closer to the beach. This information is in the welcome binder provided by the host but was too late for us unfortunately. The umbrella and chairs provided by the host were great and we used them almost every day, but you do have to set them up behind the 5 rows of rentals so no real view of the ocean.

Would definitely stay here again

Very clean and beautiful. It was refreshing to stay in a condo without the typical “beach theme decor”. Beds were comfortable. No signs of any kind of bugs. The other reviews complained about the property being strict but I never had any encounters with security. It was nice to have security at the beach and pool areas. The tiki bars open 10-dusk. Good food & drinks. We rented beach chairs online months in advance as other reviews suggested. We were in the second row the whole week which was fine with me. Each day our seats were in different areas but near the same spot. They will bring you drinks and snacks right to your beach chair. So luxurious and fun! We also had groceries delivered from Walmart the first day so that was so convenient. So many shops and restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance. We flew and didn’t rent a car so went we anywhere we walked and it was no big deal. The 4 elevators were never too long of a wait but we did take the stairs sometimes since it’s only 6 flights so it’s not bad. The WiFi was pretty good. We brought our fire stick to watch movies and it took a bit to load but then it played without lagging. There’s so many toys in the balcony closet and the kitchen was well stocked. Water pressure in showers was good when I adjusted the shower head to the strongest position. Be sure to warn your family to be careful of the stone tiles because they can crack if they drop something on them. Consider using plastic cups just in case. So much fun.

Beautiful sunset from the front door balcony. You can see the sunrise on the other end of the condo through the living room or bedroom windows and balcony. .

Spacious family condo right on the beach!

Wonderful condo with everything you need for a beach vacation! Washer/dryer and beach closet with chairs, toys and coolers were are favorites! The view is amazing! The resort has many extras like 2 restaurants and a tiki bar! Highly recommend this unit!

Pelican Beach Resort

We loved it-the condo was beautiful with a wonderful view. It was right on the beach. The pools were very nice. The only bad thing-we we’re able to get in the big hot tub only on our first day of the stay-after that the hot tub was TOO HOT. I and other guests repotted it. Hardly anyone used it because it was too hot.
