Middle Cay ist eine luxuriöse Privatinsel vor der Küste von Harbour Island. Mit einem Kokospalmenhain, zwei Villen und täglicher Reinigung. Diese zwei Hektar große Insel kombiniert Fünf-Sterne-Annehmlichkeiten mit einer abgeschiedenen Lage für den ultimativen karibischen Kurzurlaub.

Die Insel verfügt über zwei Docks, sodass die Gäste problemlos ihre Segelboote, Yachten oder Leihboote anlegen können. Ein Dock hat sogar einen automatischen Bootslift. Ein funktionierender Leuchtturm verleiht der Insel nautischen Charme, ein Gehweg schlängelt sich um die gesamte Insel, und eine Feuerstelle macht s'mores zum Kinderspiel. Angelausrüstung, ein Kanu, ein Standup-Paddle-Board und drei Kajaks sind perfekt, um den Tag auf dem Meer zu verbringen. Die umliegenden Inseln sind bekannt für ihre rosa Sandstrände, Korallenriffe und Schiffswracks. Nutzen Sie die Schnorchelausrüstung von Middle Cay, um ein Unterwasserparadies zu entdecken. Unser 22-Fuß-Boot steht Ihnen täglich bis Mitternacht zur Verfügung. Sie sind für den Treibstoff des Bootes verantwortlich. Harbour Island bietet Jet-Ski, Boots-, Fahrrad- und Golfwagenverleih sowie mehrere Restaurants und Strände. Wir bieten ergänzende Wasserschläuche, Wasserskifahren, Füttern der Schweine in Meeks Patch, Tauchen mit einem Yamaha Sea Scooter oder eine Tour zu den nahe gelegenen Inseln.

Middle Cay hat zwei Häuser und beide haben WiFi und Klimaanlage. Das Haupthaus verfügt über eine offene Küche und einen Essbereich mit Küchengeräten aus Edelstahl, Granit und einem Esstisch für 8 Personen. Das Wohnzimmer verfügt über einen Flachbild-Kabel-TV und eine private Terrasse. Draußen gibt es einen beheizten Pool und eine Außendusche. Im Cottage befindet sich ein Gemeinschaftsbereich mit schönen Holzbalken und Fliesenböden. Das Wohnzimmer ist mit edlen Möbeln und einem Flachbild-Kabel-TV ausgestattet. An der Bar und am Haupttisch speisen Sie. Es öffnet sich zur Terrasse und hat drei Fensterwände, die den Blick auf das Meer freigeben. Die Küche verfügt über Küchengeräte aus Edelstahl, eine Kaffeemaschine und einen Mixer.

Das Haupthaus hat vier Schlafzimmer und das Cottage hat drei Schlafzimmer. Im Haupthaus gibt es eine geräumige Master-Suite mit einem Kingsize-Bett, drei Wänden mit Meerblick, eine private Terrasse, eine Lounge und ein eigenes Badezimmer. Die zweite Suite verfügt über zwei Doppelbetten, einen Fensterplatz und ein eigenes Bad. Die dritte Suite verfügt über zwei Einzelbetten, Meerblick und eine Flurbadewanne. Die vierte Suite verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett und ein eigenes Bad. Im Cottage gibt es eine Kingsize-Suite mit Zugang von außen, Meerblick und eigenem Bad. Die zweite Suite verfügt über zwei Doppelbetten, Zugang nach außen und ein eigenes Bad. Die dritte Suite ist ideal für Kinder und verfügt über ein Doppelstockbett, ein Ausziehbett und ein WC im Flur. Ein täglicher Reinigungsservice wird angeboten.

Middle Cay ist sehr gut zugänglich. Vom Flughafen aus ist es eine fünfminütige Taxifahrt zum nächsten Dock und dann eine zweiminütige Bootsfahrt nach Middle Cay. Diese Insel bietet ein Höchstmaß an Privatsphäre und Luxus sowie einfachen Zugang zu Aktivitäten und Proviant.
Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Auflistung BEIDE Häuser auf der Insel sowie die tägliche Reinigung umfasst. Bootsfahrten nach Harbour Island oder North Eleuthera. Beinhaltet auch tägliche Aktivitäten auf unserem Boot.
Die Gäste sind für den Kraftstoff verantwortlich, der während ihres Aufenthalts auf dem Boot verbraucht wird.

Das Andocken (für Leute, die ihre eigenen Boote / Yachten mitbringen), der Bootsverleih und die Veranstaltungsgebühren sind bei Bedarf separat.

Es gibt Direktflüge von Miami, Fort Lauderdale und Atlanta. Ab Nassau ca. 7 Flüge täglich nach ELH. Südliche Luft, Ananas-Luft, Bahamas-Luft. Es gibt auch eine schnelle Fähre von Nassau nach Harbour Island. Es gibt regelmäßige Linienflüge von Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta, La Guardia und Newark. Jet Blue, Delta, United, American und Silver Air fliegen alle nach ELH. 7 tägliche Flüge von Nassau mit Bahamas Air, Southern Air und Pineapple Air.

We all had a terrific time! The property was beautiful, really gave the island feel! The staff was excellent as well,very friendly and professional!!! The property will not disappoint you!! It was one of our top family vacations!!

Amazing stay

Trip of a lifetime!

4 generations together, we all had a great time. So many memories made. It was the coolest thing to wake up to no noises in a city! We enjoyed the games in the beach area! We will come back for sure

Vacation of a lifetime!

Just came back from Middle Cay, no one in our group wanted to leave. All the amenities you can think of. We loved going around in the boat, Andrew was very knowledgeable, and the kids had a blast with him. The restaurants on Harbour Island were amazing. The pool, the hammock, the landscaping. We had three generations come with us and there was something to do for everyone.

Hermit crabs, turtles and ocean life were fun for the kids,. House is just unbelievable.

Everything was really fun,. The pool was great. The water taxis are very accessible to Harbour island and also to Eleuthra. So, you have both privacy and also access to more action. Fishing was great. We could not ask for anything more.

Love, love, loved it

Did I mention we loved it. Everything was top notch, we were taken care of at all times. From before we booked to after we checked out we were treated like royalty. The island is a gem, the caretakers are so friendly. Plenty of room for our large group. Going to Harbour Island for meals was so easy. We will be back.

Fabulous property!

We have been coming to Harbour Island for decades. We are so happy to have come across this new addition. We had access to the boat and the captain all day long. Kids were always doing some activity on the boat. We went to Harbour Island as needed. We loved the privacy and the quiet ambience(read no roosters waking you up) of Middle Cay.

Beyond words, cannot wait to come back

Loved the property, the serenity, the walkway around the island. So much sea life to enjoy! Middle Cay was so close to Harbour Island, we went there for dinner and sometimes for lunch. We have stayed on Harbour Island, but we loved the privacy that the island provided. Not being woken up by the roosters on Harbour was a plus. We did leave our golf cart at the dock on HI. The water on the island is brackish, I was told less than Harbour, we just used the spring water provided. We rented both homes and had an amazing time!

Paradise

It is hard to describe what a wonderful place Middle Cay is. Our family of 13 (8 adults and 5 children ages 5-8) just spent the best week ever there. This island offers everything but especially Mother Nature in all of her glory. The accommodations were perfect, when in the main house you felt like you were on a boat. The staff was excellent, the food delicious and having the boat was a major plus. The children went out on it every day, Vincent (the captain) took them to so many special places, swimming with turtles, swimming with stingrays, snorkeling on shipwrecks, tubing and just finding starfish. On the island we kayaked with a manatee and sea turtles. The little ones caught lizards and had hermit crab races. I feel like I have only touched the surface of this amazing island. Sonal, the owner is great to work with! There were lots of tears when it was time to leave, we all wanted to stay forever! Memories of a lifetime

Our first private island stay and it was fab!

We were a group of 16, loved every minute of it. So many activities to do, between the pig excursion, the lobster diving, the water tubing, outdoor bowling, beach volleyball and many more. The island looks like a resort. We did have to deal with the challenges of being on an island, so that was a great learning experience and made us appreciate many things we take for granted in the U.S. The staff is absolutely a delight to work with, the place was super clean. Nicholas came lightening quick when ever we needed something. They provide a boat twice a day to go to Eleuthera or Harbour Island. Everyone loved it.

We are planning our second trip already!

The island is such a treat, three generations loved it. Peace and great service are the two main things we enjoyed on the island. There was so much to do, many board games and outdoor activities to do. Harbour Island was so close that we were never far from civilization. Our group all agreed that the restaurants on Harbour Island were better than the one's in Nassau. We did the swimming pigs excursion that the kids loved,. The fishing was amazing, Island had fishing rods and tackle. Snorkeling was amazing, again we got the snorkelling gear from the stash on the island. Nicholas the prpperty manager was prompt and went out of his way to make our trip memorable! We are already planning our trip back to Middle Cay!

Middle Cay Paradise

We had an amazing experience from the time we were picked up at the dock, until returning to the dock. The property is very well maintained daily, and the housing was perfect for my family on 19. There was something for all ages to enjoy on the island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Chef Jasmine prepared wonderful meals three times per day and the food was 5-star restaurant worthy. The daily boat trips to feed the pigs, turtles, and sting rays was special and the water is beautiful. Our older boys also got to fish and dive for conch which was a lot of fun for them. It was also nice to be able to boat a few minutes over to Harbour Island to shop and have lunch at The Dunmore. Lastly, the owner, Sonal, was very helpful and available for anything we needed before we got there and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property! :) :)

Just freaking amazing!!!

We were blown away at the service, the level of luxury, the amenities available. We were a large group, there was plenty to do. Every day we relaxed in the massive outdoor living area on the private island. The beds were comfortable, the bed sheets were high end, there were enough towels provided for all of us. The housekeeper came by every day and this was so helpful. The boat captain took us to places where we got fresh conch from the sea bed. Kids picked up a lot of tidbits about the local sea life. Saw many varieties of fish, even saw dolphins, the locals called it flipper. We are grateful for the staff and Sonal making this a memorable vacation, we have 3 generations in our group and everyone did not want to leave middle cay. We hope to be back soon!

A trip to PARADISE

The most amazing trip ever! We had initially booked it for three days but one day in and we ended up extending for the week! It was perfect in every way. The island is only 10 minutes away from the airport and only a 5 minute ride to harbor island. The island is surrounded by mangroves which brings in lots of sea life. Turtles, dolphins, stingrays, starfish and even manatees! The island itself offers a lot of activities including snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, beach volleyball, a captain with a boat and a chef! We watched the sunrise from the infinity pool and watched the sunset from the dock, which were both breathtaking. The staff working at the island are very helpful and incredibly kind. My fiancé proposed to me while on this trip and our host Sonal helped him out with the location and helped arrange everything. The trip was absolutely perfect and we were so sad to leave. We are looking forward to going there again as soon as we can!

Absolutely perfect

Group was me, my husband, two 8 year old sons, my brother, his wife and their 17yo and 13yo. The property has gorgeous views in all directions, lush vegetation, and the island is large and spread out. For two families traveling together with kids of different ages, the two (very nice) houses setup was super helpful. The biggest surprise about the island was the wildlife in the cove b/t the island and Eleuthera - many manatees would swim up let you scratch their backs that everyone would rush to the kayaks/paddle boards/snorkeling gear whenever they could to say hi to our new friends. For activities off island the boat captain took us out a bunch of times and we went tubing, looked at the sea turtles and other wildlife, saw the pigs on Spanish Wells, anchored on a beach off Eleuthera to swim and look for sea biscuits, snorkeling, or just to go for short boat rides. The staff was excellent and friendly and would help us with anything we needed. The chef made delicious restaurant quality meals (I know where she trained so not surprised). The proximity to Harbour Island is a great bonus bc it's a five minute ride across - we went to lunch at one of the beach hotels once while kids played on pink sands and one night went to dinner in town, the boat would wait and you'd text and boom you're home. The owner was v communicative on a group WhatsApp chat that included the house manager, anything we needed we got. In conclusion, a wonderful stay and I'd love to go back.

Amazing stay! Dream vacation.

Loved our stay on Middle Cay. It is a private oasis, this was a dream vacation. First time we used airbnb and we are very happy. The private island was very easy to get to, Sonal the hosts sets everything up for you prior to arrival. We flew into ELH(North Eleuthra) from FLL(Ft. Lauderdale). From there took a short taxi ride and then on to the Cay in a matter of a few minutes. We had asked the house to be stocked with groceries prior to arrival and were greeted with ice cold local beer. The place is immaculate, the beds are comfortable, amenities that you would expect in a luxury rental. The outdoor living is the star attraction of this island. The night time swim, being on the cay and having complete peace, yet just a stone throw away to all the joys of an out island. House was stocked with most of the spices we needed, the fridge had many condiments. We caught so many fish and grilled them for dinner most nights. We had daily maid service and we used a local boat captain to ferry us around to Harbour Island and other private islands in the vicinity. There is a boat available for use on the island. The pink sand beach was the most amazing beach we have ever been, the sand is not a bright pink, but hues of pink are evident in certain lights. Lot of restaurants on Harbour Island that we loved, Arthur's bakery is not to be missed. We hope to come back soon.

We had ages 5-82 years old and this experience was amazing for everyone of us! Sonal the owner begins communicating with you right away and is always available for questions or concerns. She takes great pride in this property. The property has snorkel gear, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing poles, underwater scooters... and the amount of sea life around the island is incredible. The boatmen-Sydney, Cornell and EJ were absolutely amazing. Every single day was filled with unbelievable adventures to remote beaches, tourist spots (pigs, swings, turtles), bone fishing, snorkeling like I have never experienced (reefs, star fish, sting rays, tons of fish, lobster, conch, turtles...), conch diving, Harbour Island, Spanish wells, Eleuthera, the Atlantic (gorgeous blue water and snorkeling)...... We had one day of big water and we felt completely safe with these experienced boatmen and this big boat. Jasmine the chef prepared meals that exceeded every expectation. We ate lunch out one day and nobody wanted to eat out again-Jasmine is a very gifted chef with a glowing personality!! My mother in law spent a couple of days relaxing on the island reading while the rest of us were adventuring- she couldn't get over the number of lounging spaces to relax:) The gardener was so king and opened coconuts for the kids to drink daily. We loved boating over to Harbour Island in the evenings to body surf on the pink beaches before dinner. Traveling in October was perfect- the weather was wonderful, the water was 84 degrees, and there was not congestion anywhere. I cant imagine having an experience this comprehensive at another rental in the Harbour Island area.

Great location, questionable staff and charges

What a beautiful vacation with wildlife we had. All the places we visited and all marine life were amazing. Beautiful beaches. That part was truly amazing. The property is def in need of renovations and repair. Pool filtration not working, sparking electrical wires outside during rain, electrical issues with lights dimming, a small building falling apart with items strewn about around it, rusted out canoe, kayaks missing oars, promised activities unavailable, leaking air conditioners in home causing slip hazards, broken floor tiles, stained floors, broken trash can….a lot that needs love and attention. The owner is communicative. The chef and housekeepers were great. The captain a little shady. The biggest issue is the amount of money requested for items before and after the trip. I priced groceries when I went on the island with what was purchased for us. These charges didn’t add up. I was charged a golf cart fee. There was no cart. We paid cash to rent two from someone on harbour island on two different days. We were charged several times for ice. One charge was $47, another $55. I saw four bags of ice during the trip. I also was asked to pay $1800 for boat fuel (stating we went out on both boats every day). This is absolutely untrue. We used one boat but sometimes our captain was out on that boat doing his own thing. The second boat only took us out fishing for one hour on one day. It all seemed a little shady. I did pay an upfront$5000 through PayPal for groceries/fuel.

BIG RECS from this Group of 12!!

My husband and I (and 10 of our closest friends) booked our Middle Cay trip to celebrate his & his best friends 40th Birthdays. And let's just say, this was a trip of a Lifetime! From Arrival to Departure - Everything was AMAZING! First the airport transportation and boating to the house was SUPER EASY! Seriously. Nothing to it. Once we arrived to Middle Cay, we were Greeted with drinks and appetizers on the dock and each morning you're awaken with aromas of coffee and breakfast... it was all quite dreamy. Some mornings we got up before the staff had arrived to island - and we would watch them approach and arrive to the island via boat and it was neat to see. The Staff was incredible! Sophie and her team handled food, activities, housekeeping, You Name it! They really catered to our every need. We couldn't have asked for better service! Chef Vincent prepared delicious meals All day. Every day. We literally ate off island for 2 meals... we were All very pleased with all things food! We were celebrating birthdays, and Chef made a cake with Candles and the staff even Decorated the Dining Room with Balloons, streamers and Happy Birthday décor. It was SO THOUGHTFUL and made the night even More FUN!! Captain Sidney and Scott were great and made sure we were having a great time on the water and on our island outings. Always going above and beyond with chairs, umbrellas, drinks and food. The boats and other equipment were all Top Notch! Several of our guests used the underwater motor scooters and had the Best time exploring coral reefs. After returning home, we texted each other and All of our first thoughts when we woke up at home that morning - "Where's Sophie???!!!" We are all so Happy we made the trip to Middle Cay. We WILL be back! and will talk about this trip for years and YEARS to come... Middle Cay would be GREAT for a Multi-Family Trip too. Both houses are BIG and each has a full kitchen. Great communal areas, Inside and Outside. and Lots to do On and Off, Middle Cay. So Yes, BIG RECS from this Group of 12!

A true 5 star resort

Highly recommend What an amazing trip. I can't say enough good things about Middle Cay. It all started with Sonal the owner who did an amazing job preparing us for the trip and arranging all the transportation from the airport. She was very accessible via whatsapp and always willing to give us recommendations and help answer all of our questions. Also note we are planning to go back again in the spring as we all had such a great time. We traveled with a group of 8 of us. 4 adults and 4 kids ages 10-12 This was one of our first VRBOs so we weren’t sure what to expect. We are SPG platinum and big fans of the Four Seasons hotel chain—I tell you this because we are very picky about where we stay especially on family vacations. About Middle Cay Located a short boat ride from ELH airport—literally 3 mins (Sonal arranged it). From the moment we stepped on the boat all we could say was WOW. We have traveled to most of the major islands in the Caribbean and enjoy staying at 5 star resorts. The house and furnishings are up to the standards of a 5 star hotel. The house is very spacious and offers plenty of room for kids and adults to either share together time or have their own space if needed. The kitchen is great and is fully stocked with all the necessary appliances and cooking utensils. Beds and linens are top notch and water pressure in showers is great. Internet and WIFI are great and kids streamed videos. Views The grounds and views from the island are truly breathtaking. An infinity pool overlooks the ocean with high end lounge chairs and cushions. I spent most of my mornings here drinking coffee and watching the sea turtles hunt for food. There is a large hammock next to the ocean which allows you to kick back and get lost in time. My biggest decision in the morning was whether to sit poolside or on the hammock . I have stayed at many of the nicer resorts in the Carribean and the view from the Cay rivals any of them. Staff House is staffed with a groundskeeper (Henry). He is great and will help you drink fresh coconuts and even helped the kids get live bait for fishing. We also had a house manager and boat captain ( father and son team) that acted as our personal tour guides. They were amazing and really made the trip. We also had a housekeeper who was there to make sure the place was clean. This was one of my bigger fears since I have not used VRBO before but was pleasantly surprised at how great it was Things to do--You really
