We loved this property and would definitely stay here again. The hosts are wonderful and had excellent communication. The house is beautiful and had plenty of space for our family of six. All of the furniture was comfy. The outdoor patio and pool were perfect, and the location could not have been better. The house has everything you could possibly need and the hosts provided beach towels, beach chairs, and snorkling equipment. It's located one block away from the best snorkling spot on the island. Thank you for making our first family trip to Aruba an amazing experience!

Great Location

Everything was as wonderful as expected! The home was so comfortable with an incredible outdoor living area in a quiet area. We enjoyed sitting by the pool in the evenings and mornings listening to the swaying palms and beautiful birds and being a couple minutes' walk from several beaches. It is a bit of a drive to some of the things to do in Aruba, but still very accessible. If you aren't into the big touristy crowds with traffic, shopping and night life, I highly recommend this home! Nearby Arashi Beach is incredible and not terribly crowded.

Family Vacation

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this beautiful home! The house itself was spacious, well-appointed, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. Mornings on the patio with a cup of coffee, surrounded by tropical birds, quickly became a favorite part of our routine.The kitchen was user-friendly, and we had no trouble preparing meals almost daily. We especially enjoyed using the grill in the evenings! The beds were super comfortable, and it was so nice having plenty of space to spread out and relax.The highlight of the home, though, was its unbeatable proximity to the beaches. We started each morning with a swim alongside the turtles at Tres Trapi—such a magical experience. We also loved spending time at Boca Catalina and Arashi, both just a short distance away.We’re already looking forward to booking our next stay!

Great place, great location

House was clean and well stocked. Room descriptions were accurate. There was 7 or 8 beach chairs, a few masks/snorkles, some fins and several coolers available for use. Pool was a great feature to jump in for a quick cool down. Carlito was the local point of contact and was very responsive to any questions or requests. Highly recommended if you are looking to visit the island.

Amazing Snorkeling

The property was perfect for our vacation. We walked to snorkel and saw tons of sea life including puffer fish, turtles and several different fish. It was beautiful. California lighthouse is very close and several shops and restaurants are just a short drive away. The pool and outside areas were wonderful to just relax and enjoy the warm weather. The house itself is spacious and has most everything you need.

Best Snorkeling

Quick walk to Tres Trapi and Boca Catalina, we walked with our snorkel gear daily. Very popular snorkeling spot, especially for green turtles. Not close to many shops or restaurants (quiet) so it will be a trek if you want to eat out or shop. Place is older/needs update but was clean, free of sand, and plenty large enough for our party of 5.

Lovely home in a great location!

The home was lovely. Lots of space for the six of us. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature to relax in. Large kitchen and dining area worked out very well. The location … especially if you enjoy snorkeling … was wonderful. So many great spots within walking distance! Just a short drive to so many wonderful restaurants and grocery stores were easy to find. We’re from the US and while we love Aruba & try to visit often this was our first VRBO experience there.. It worked out really well and we wouldn’t hesitate renting this home again.

Wonderful!!!!!

It was a wonderful home, the pool was great, the house was clean and decorated beautifully. We were within a short walking distance to the beach, and a little longer walk to the lighthouse. We rented a car and drove all over the island, it was an absolutely great experience. The people in Aruba were very friendly and you could get anywhere in a short time. They had live music in Palm Beach every night. The owners were very nice and helpful. I would recommend this house to anyone. Many thanks to the owners for sharing their home.

Great week in Aruba

The house was well equipped: Kitchen, beach towels and chairs. etc. Great location for the beach. Excellent outdoor setup: pool, tables to eat, chairs, etc. House should be posted as a two and half bathrooms. The third bathroom shower doesn't not get warm water. We shared with two other couples worked out fine, would have been a little tough with four total couples and only two working showers

Perfect Aruba family trip, location, home! Skip the hotels!

My wife and I, (early 40's), and twin 10 year old boys had a perfect trip to Aruba staying here. We have never done a VRBO outside of the US, so I was nervous, but after all the research I did about Aruba and looking into the area where this home is located, we decided to go for it... and we could not have been happier. This was the first we'd been to Aruba, and with the prices of all the hotels I decided to look into VRBO and a car rental, and this was absolutely the way to go. For the same price, or less, of the high end hotels we got a gorgeous, spacious home with full kitchen, pool, grill and gorgeous outdoor space. It was only four of us, so the home size was a little overkill for our needs, but this was the type of location we wanted: very quiet, residential, walking distance to QUIET beaches, and the best snorkeling on the island. I seriously cannot say enough about the location. I would say another family of 4, 2A+2C, would have fit comfortably with us. The air conditioning was perfect - you need it in Aruba! The kitchen and outside Weber grill were great: we ate at the house more than we expected because the butcher at Super Foods was so good. The owners were always available, and there is a local contact in case we needed anything, but we didn't. Absolutely recommend and we would stay here again.

Family Vacation

Location and house were absolutely spectacular! My husband and I are familiar with the island, but was a first time trip for my parents and adult children and they now know why we keep coming back! House very spacious and pool area stunning with lots of places to relax outdoors. There is a clothesline in back which was an extra bonus. Lots of pool/beach items, but some pretty worn out. Lots of dishes/glasses, but as far as pots/pans to cook with--we were struggling as choices were minimal and quite worn that we didn't want to cook on. No cookie sheets at all, but LOTS of serving platters and accessories. The only other downfall was the water pressure was minimal (which is at a lot of places on the island), but the water temp was only luke warm for showers. Not a deal breaker, but just be aware. Carlitos was very friendly upon check in/out (fortunately didn't need to contact him during our stay). And John/Vilma were wonderful to interact with and quite responsive. Thank you sooo much for sharing your home in paradise with us! Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others! Until next time :)

Beautiful house....quiet neighborhood

The house was awesome. Big, beautiful, perfect for a family vacation. Quiet neighborhood and pretty close to beaches and town. The reason I don’t give it a 5 star rating are a few things...fixable things but non the less very annoying during our stay. We had to search the house for towels and the ones we found were quite old only two wash clothes could be found. The towels were not laid out on the beds as shown in the pictures on the listing. We needed to request additional towels...we were a family of five there were maybe six towels. There were only four beach chairs and the listing says the house sleeps 6-8 people so why not have that many beach chairs. We had to rent a chair every day at the beach. The grill outside was filthy and the kitchen was not clean. The counter tops looked like they were cleaned with a dirty rag and the cutting board was dirty and had dried lettuce on it. There were dirty foot prints leading out of the master bedroom shower and some ones half used soap, razor cover and a disposable puff thing were still in the shower. Kitchen oven was dirty as well. Toaster barely worked, only one side . The propane tank for the outside grill ran out after only two nights of grilling...ruined my 4th of July steaks. The toilets would not flush properly so on our 3rd day there the septic tank had to be emptied...that was not a fun smell while we were sitting by the pool. The tables outside and the bar top were actually so filthy we had to take the hose and hose them down and wipe it all with a small towel I found. The air conditioner leaked onto the twin bed in one of the bedrooms so we just turned it off. Usually you get some starter items when you get to the house....all we got were a few rolls of toilet paper and a half roll of paper towels. The owners did contact us when we complained about the grill set being rusty and sent over a new set and a few towels. When I complained about the propane tank being empty I heard nothing. Over all it seemed they were not prepared for our stay. It seemed the cleaners rushed through the house. There needs to be many updates in this house as far as towels...small appliances....maybe a broom for outside by the pool. We loved the house and we had a good time but the aggravation over these problems was annoying especially because this is not a cheap place to stay. I hope the owners take some care into providing for their guests and maybe find a new cleaning service because this house is beautiful.

Hello Guest! We are a family from Boston Massachusetts. We have been coming to Aruba since 1988. Fell in love with the Island, weather and the friendly people. After many years of staying at hotels and renting other homes we felt it was time to purchase a home for our family. There was no other island that could compare! When we saw this house and realized how close it is to the beaches, we were SOLD! Boca Catalina and tres Trapi was only a 2 minute walk ... We would be able to grab our towels and go!
