Exceeded our expectations
Everything about Villa Braghò was magical, from the moment our host Ginevra greeted us until we finally had to say goodbye.
The house itself is lovely, with large rooms, a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. There are two tables – one for four and one for six – just outside the kitchen doors for family dining on a lovely covered patio, making eating in as enjoyable as going out.
The enormous grounds are nothing less than stunning and beautifully maintained by the charming gardener, who is there most days. The huge pool is sparklingly inviting and there is comfortable patio furniture as well as big umbrellas of the sort usually seen in top hotels.
The house was kept immaculately clean by Mima, who came in twice a week.
It is just a short walk into Tropea, a very lively town with countless restaurants, bars and shops and the beaches are amongst the most beautiful in Italy.
But best of all was the charm of our host. She lives in a small property adjacent to the main house and is always on hand to answer any questions you may have. She was kind enough to take us to some of her favourite food shops and give us many recommendations for restaurants and daytime activities.
We have no hesitation in whole-heartedly recommending this property.
