Bear Cabin - Luxuriöser privater Schnee-Ski neben dem Tahoe National Forest mit Anbaufläche!

In response to the review submitted we would like to say that first of all the customer: The renter Hilary booked last year in September 2021 and had ample time to cancel if the property did not meet her needs however she waited until after the 60 days to ask us to give her a full refund and cancel her reservation. She also mentioned the sleeping accommodations however she only paid for 5 guests so there was no need for her to use the first floor bedroom. There were bedrooms upstairs that would more than accommodate them. Hilary also stated that the additional guest charge was astronomical. The additional guest charges were only $50 a night per guest per night and she did not want to pay that for the additional guests that she wanted. And when we provided her with the price for the additional guests she stated that it was too much money. Hilary also stated that we had cameras outside and that she was not notified of this per VRBO. The Tahoe cabins have experienced numerous break ins from bears and there is an alarm that goes off when they attempt entry. We are allowed to have cameras outside and even have cameras in the home provided they're not in the bedroom or the bathroom. I only have the cameras outside by the entry doors because we have had several bears try to break into the home when no one was there. This way we can monitor outside in case a bear does try to get in or succeeds in getting in. In addition Hilary was notified through VRBO and in an email that only the 5 guests staying at the cabin were allowed to be on the property. No additional guests were allowed. On the 1st night they were there 14 people at the home at 2:35 in the morning and Hilary continued to have more than the allotted amount of people that were staying there on the property during her stay. Hilary also stated that we had poor communication but I continually answered all of her 30 plus emails in a timely manner including the request that she put through on VRBO. Hilary also stated stated that we filed a claim for damages to the property. Yes we did. The damages are being handled through the insurance. We did everything possible to accommodate her and answered every question that she had except for canceling her reservation. Also in addition she had people smoking outside when her contract clearly stated no smoking at all on the property indoors or out. I am sorry but I would not recommend renting any property to this person she is very difficult to deal with and obviously ignores the rules. Read my multitude of reviews and they will tell you what an incredibly wonderful place the Tapawingo Bear Cabin is. I invite you to check for yourself!! Sent from my iPhone
