Nice property, pictures were old (from before remodel) on listing - property look MUCH better in person! The recent remodel changes the way it looks in the listing pictures. Nice laundry facility, wish there was more cupboard space. Communication with property manager was very good, responsive. Nice place.

We had a really great time at this location. We definitely made sure to use the pool often. That was the best part of the property! It was perfect for a family with small kids.The only thing I wish there could’ve been was a washer and dryer so that we could take care of the towels. But as far as cleanliness and communication, everything was excellent!

Relaxing

Our family (parents plus teenage/college age kids) traveled down for Christmas. We found the location to be perfect for us…minutes walk from the beach, close to restaurants and shops and also close to bike rental places. Our goal was to relax as a family in the sun, and Gabe’s place allowed us to do exactly that. The house was clean, had enough space for everyone. The host was very responsive and provided some recommendations for dinning. We would definitely stay again next time visiting the island.

Best stay so far in SPI!!

The house is beautiful, and had everything we needed especially in the kitchen. Having a private pool was great as well. It's close enough to the beach to walk. Close to the grocery store and Dollar General. The owner was very nice, always reachable when we had a question, he was so very helpful, and considerate when we had to change our travel dates due to a family loss. I could never thank him enough. We can't wait to come back next year. I will also be letting my family and friends know about the house.

LOVED IT!!

We loved our stay here! The house was in a great location , centralized to everything. 3-4 mins walk to the beach, close to shops and restaurants and we could see the fireworks from the pool! There was plenty of room for everyone and the house was nice and clean. The owner is very nice and super friendly! I spoke with him several times prior to our trip! The only thing I would recommend is bringing basic necessities like dish soap, paper towels, etc. but other than that we enjoyed everything! We would definitely one back! 10/10 recommend!

Good price

Nice place for the price. Check in was easy and good walking distance to the beach. Some complaints are the cleanliness of the pool. It was a little dirty and the water was murky. Also be prepared to take hand soap, dish soap, trash bags and toilet paper. The bedroom with the 2 queen beds are very lumpy and very squeaky. Overall it was nice place for the price, would stay again if visiting the island.

To much, to ignore!

Couldn't check in until 330 (3pm check in) trash outside, stove top cracked, dining table delaming, doors old and rotting, water damage right corner entrance, alot of old damage just patched.

Easy communication not the greatest experience

Property manager was easy to talk to they offered for us to go early at no extra cost. I ended up getting there a little after check-in time and when you first walk in the door all you smell is mold as we walked around we noticed broken furniture one of the reasons why we picked this house is because it had a pool the pool was not clean. When I addressed broken furniture and the mold with the property manager their responsible thanks for the info. Thankfully we had other family members staying a few blocks over and we spent most of our time over there because we worried about getting sick from the mold.

I have Test it for Mold none at all. I was there. 10 days and no smell at all. There was a piece of furniture broken. By previous tenants. I'm just curious, how does Mold smell.

Need improvement

Location is good but the house need major improvement. IE, bathroom on the first floor, shower head need repair, all the handle (turn nob need replace) and no hot water. When cooking inside the house, no air vent to suck out all the cooming smell. The swimming pool so dirty and over kill with chlorine in the water. When requested to clean up the pool it was show up 2 days later. End up not used the pool at all. (Personally, i was book the house with the pool for my kids. It kinda waste money if the pool not being apart of the rental.)

Perfect spring break getaway

This property is a lot nicer in person than the pictures. It was a really nice house that was perfect for our spring break trip. It was in the middle of everything with stores in walking distance. Short walk to the beach as well. The only negative was that the wifi didn’t work. I called the owner and he said there really wasn’t much he could do about it unless I wanted to call the wifi company. Other than that it was great.
