#Casa Costa Tarifa Seepanorama

The washing machine was bought new in 2022 and works perfectly. If the weather turns cold and it is raining, we do not clean the pool so much, but maintain the water clean with chlorine. Like any business, we may have last minute speacial offers online if we have periods that are not booked. Noted on the kitchenware. We buy new pans every year,, sadly these tend to get destroyed during the summer season.

I am sorry if you had a horrible experience Noelia. You came with terrible rain and a harsh sea storm, which is not our fault, but clearly dampened your stay. You were offered some compensation, which you did not accept. The sheets are cleaned professionally in town and the house was cleaned for 6 hours by 2 ladies.

These clients stay at the house unfortunately transpired at the same time that I had major personal problems. Notwithstanding, getting anything repaired in this remote location can take time, especially in high tourist season in Tarifa. This is beyond my control. The internet did not function that week, though I did offer use of the internet in my house 100m away, so there was no need to go to town, this is not true. Yes, it did take a little bit of time to get the kitchen sink tap replaced, it was usable as there was an extendable nozzle - but as I say getting workmen out to that location in summer can take time. Doors coming off hinges, I really don´t know what he ´s talking about, not in the house. Microwave: no there is no microwave!!! As I put in the contract- the house is powered sustainably, do not bring powerful home appliances! These clients being high energy consuming Americans, did not understand this and brought all sorts of electric cooking appliances (rice cooker, meat cooker, electric kettle) which are not compatible with the system as there is already a dish washer, washing machine and swimming pool - no more appliances can be added. Energy source is from batteries. As for "Bad", I have to say that while these clients were very nice and warm friendly people, they had very little respect for my property: windows and doors were left to smash in the wind, breaking part of the lock systems on several windows; the bbq wash placed in the pool shower & a brush used, which melted leaving molten plastic over the pool shower tiles; rocks were thrown into the pool (!) breaking the cover of the filter at the bottom of the pool. All in all, I feel that the fact that the kitchen sink just had an extendable nozzle instead of a tap for the first 5 days is somewhat outweighed by the damage caused by these clients, not expensive damage but some money and about a day and a half´s work to fix. I hope the next family get together this family has is equally successful

These clients had very strong levante winds during their 1 week stay and did not like it, not being either wind or kite surfers. They just wanted to get away from Tarifa! Tarifa can be a place with very strong wind so if you come for a week only you might get a week of strong wind: ideal if you are a wind surfer! As to the complaints: During their stay these clients made NO complaints to us whatsoever - we always aim to fix any problem immediately. The gas cooker is to standard E.U. specification where the oven has a safety valve but the hobbs on top do not (as you can see and smell them), there are absolutely no open wires above the cooker (!) though there is a plug IN the wall not far from it, like in any kitchen. The toilets all have seats and covers, but in case one breaks do tell us and we will either fix it or change it the same day. The doors do have handles where necessary & the house is not covered in balck mould (!!) but if you do see any mould just tell us and we will spray it with bleach...(you do get very small amounts of mould occasionally as the house is 100m from the sea but we are talking many 1 area only of 4cm 2). This house is quite simply furnished & we do not claim to be luxury. The house is in a natural park in the Strait iof Gibraltar near Tarifa. If you want luxury better go to Marbella.

This client made no complaints while at the house whatsoever. A month after the stay she demanded 1000eur or she would write a bad opinion.. There are no windows falling off hinges. Many of the windows are of a sistem that allows the windows to til backwards, or to open fully. To switch between one system or the other, it is necessary first to properly and completely shut the window, then open it in the way you want, with outwards or tilting backwards. Access to the pool is normal.

Lo siento si el lugar no ha sido a tu gusto Laura. No obstante habeis traido mas gente de la cuenta, sobre lo cual no hemos quejado. De veces en cuando cosas se rompen y tarda unos dias antes de que alguien viene a arreglar en verano, dado a la cantidad de trabajo que tiene todo el mundo, lo siento si un aseo no funciono durante parte de tu estancia, ahora sí funciona. El baño grande tmb tiene ducho..limitamos uso de baños en verano solo, por el tema del consumo de agua,, la casa no está tan lejos del Sahara.. Bichos, algunos hay, es parque natural, viven allí y no echamos quimica. El movil solo hay que ponerlo en busqueda manual y elegir servidor español.. es la casa mas cerca a Africa en Europa.

La casa se situa a unos 100m del mar en el Estrecho..en comparación con Madrid (alto y lejos del mar) donde estos cliente hallaron claro, es mucho mas humedo. Habia viento de levante fuerte en toda la semana lamentablemente, y este viento, que viene desde el Mediterraneo, trae mas humedad que el Poniente del Atlantico. La casa te da la sensación a vezes de estar en un barco porque se ve el Medditerraneo y el Atlantico. Bichos..es parque natural, los bichos viven allí, y no echamos quimicos alrededor de la casa. En la zona hay cochinillos pero decir que era una invasión es exagerar mucho. No hacen nada y se quita con cepilla y recogedor y ya está. Ratones..lo dudo, Manolo que se quida de la casa está muy encima de este tipo de cosa. La casa está limpiado por dos mujeres que vienan por un día entero cada vez que hay cambio de clientes. Y sí, Manolo fue muy agradable con estos clientes, porque no ha visto que, a parte de robar dos juegos de sabanas, han tenido un perro sin decirnos y sin limpiar tras él, y según las limpiadores, han dejado la casa en un estado tan mal que no han visto desde hace tiempo y me piden no alquilar la casa a este tipo de gente. Creo que, si no hubo tanto viento de levante durante su estancia, y ha sido un verano ventoso, estarian mas satisfechos con sus vacaciones.
